ADD A LITTLE ROMANCE TO YOUR CHRISTMAS

If you're like me during the Christmas season, you rush and rush from here to there. You shop, you wrap, you decorate, you bake, you party, etc. And like me, you exhauste yourself and then don't really enjoy the season with your hubby. That's just wrong. Please tell me I'm not the only guilty one! This year when I was decorating I decide to add a garland with lights to our headboard. You can't really tell from this photo, but the garland lights really add a "warmth" to the room. And ladies, when the other lights go out and it's only the garland lights on....well...let me just put it this way - lights will go on in your husband's eyes. It's oh so nice. (smile)

Wishing you a warm Christmas!

Hugs and kisses,
Kat

I so concur!! I recently have had the desire to repeat that bed & breakfast feel for my husband. I want him to have that feeling of always wanting to be there. We get so busy in the hubbub at the end of the year. I'm making more of an effort to not get lost in hubbub and remember the people in my house and enjoy them in season instead of being that constant whirlwind behind it all.

Your bedroom is beautiful and the garland/lights is a very romantic idea.

It's beautiful! I'm sure this room is just lovely all year long. But I can see the lights really add a little special touch.

I love your garland and lights. I like Christmas lights in every room, even the bathroom. You are right, they do give off a soft glow.

My hubby would so love that! I am right there with you - busy busy busy with so many other things and hubby is usually last on the list-phewy! I must do better and maybe those Christmas lights will keep us both up past 9p.m. hahaha
Have a wonderful week.
Blessings,
Sandy

Kat, I don't have garland on the bed itself. I do have a Christmas tree in our bedroom. Just loving the effects. lol

Hey Kat; Wow WEEEEE I love your bedroom so romantic. I am going to have to get some lights to put in my bedroom. Yours looks so pretty. What a very special idea. And I am just like you all that running and rushing around, but this year I am taking it a little slower.

Ms. Kat I love the lights great idea and you are not alone when it comes to trying to do it all and sometimes I think we forget (for a moment) those around us. Richard loves the mood I am in decorating, but he hates the stress of all the other stuff. Thanks for this sweet reminder.
I am hosting a favorites list if you have time stop by and play along.
Have a blessed day.
