Well, this must be the week for sadness. My mom's friend lost her battle on Monday night. This is the last of my mom's friend. This wonderful lady turned 91 two weeks ago...mama will be 91 in June.

Seems like so much sorrow and heartache everywhere, for everyone. Monday, two St. Petersburg (FL) police officers were shot and killed in the line of duty. My hubby worked with both of them before he retired from St. Pete PD a few years ago. When ANY police officer is injured or killed, all officers and their families "bleed" too, but this tragedy has struck way too close to home for us.
My thoughts and prayers ..all I can say is that Carl is in a place where he no longer suffers; he will be listening to the most beautiful music and be surroundded by peace and the softest golden light. (this is what I remember from my coma ... so I know there is a heaven and a God.) I hope that helps some how to know he is there. Blessings ..HHL
So sorry for the loss of your friend. I'm currently reading the book "90 Minutes in Heaven" By Don Piper. It's a good book for believers and I know your dear friend is in heaven and not suffering any longer.

Well - I am so sorry to hear that you lost your friend. Just remember - next stop is forever.. no more dying, getting sick or even aging!!! What a devine place to be...although I know you will miss him.
