Okay, tell the truth...did you start your exercise/eat better routine today?
I did!
(I actually started my increased exercises a few days ago. I'm cutting back on the calories and the carbs, but I'm easing into the NO carbs phase. Baby steps!)
"Father, please let me be a blessing to someone today."
Hmmm...went to a wedding reception, so what do you think I did?? But, I was pretty good:-) Tomorrow is another day! But good for you ~ you're off to a great start. Happy New Year! Sue
Actually, I did great through Christmas and Thanksgiving. This weekend I messed up...big time. So, starting tomorrow, it's back to healthy eating.:( Happy New Year friend!
Not so much, but my actual target date is tomorrow when I go back to work. I haven't been bad, but I haven't been as good as I could be. Just started a new challenge at the Sisterhood, so I have to kick it in gear. Good for you for already starting.
Well, I did not exercise as I had lesson plans to do for most of the day. However, I watched what I ate. I have been on a lifestyle change for over a year now! 1 1/2 years ago I decided to change my way of eating. I chose to follow weight watchers online. Basically what it is ~is portion control.I lost 33 lbs. doing so. It took me about 5 months to lose the 33 lbs. and I have kept it off ever since. I get on the scale everyday and that tells me how to eat for the day. Some days I am more active so I eat a bit more. I am in a size 4 at the age of 52 and I can not believe it! I am not on a diet... it's just a new way of living. Healthy Eating!
I started my low carb on the 1st. I need to get in some sugar free jello and make some whipped topping for my sweet tooth. That darn sweet tooth rears it's ugly head after a few days. Good luck Kat!!!

Good for you! I'm still cooking special things for Andy. He leaves tomorrow, then I start.
So, you want the truth, eh? Well, here it is!
NO NO NO NO!!!
My next door neighbor cooked all those southern dishes yesterday!!
I'll start today! (maybe) :)
Started the low-carb thing about 4 days ago. I have to get my exercise by chasing 2 little boys around!

Oh dear, I did horrible on Saturday...think chicken wings, french fries, and donuts. I had to break in my new deep fryer! ;)
But as of yesterday, I'm on the right track! Good luck with yours, and have fun! :)
