AIN'T IT THE TRUTH!

I did a little shopping this afternoon. It's pretty scary to look around and see who is looking at certain lingerie pieces, if you know what I mean. Good golly!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We've had a very nice Saturday. We did our usual and rode our bikes to breakfast with our friends and afterwards got in about 15 miles. We ended up stopping by $tarbuck$ in the village and sat outside and played cards for awhile as we sipped some deliciously cold frappacinos before we rode home.
I got my hair trimmed this afternoon, did some shopping and then picked up some barbecue for dinner. A nice and easy day.
I already have my clothes laid out for church and my jammies on. Soon I plan to prop up in bed and read and maybe sip on some of this until I get sleepy.
I'm reading
THE HELP and can't seem to put it down.
Hope your weekend is nice and easy too.
Glad you had a great day! You were busy. I read The Help when we were at the beach on vacation. I hope they make it into a movie. I just finished reading Eat, Pray, Love and now I am anxious to see that movie. We are going to church tomorrow for a homecoming service and dinner on the grounds afterwards. Won't that be fun? Enjoy your Sunday. Love & blessings from NC!
I love this book. You know they are filming a movie in Jackson and in the Greenwood area. Looking forward to it. Although, the movie is never as good as the book.
Good Night.
I have been resting all weekend...a welcome change from the past two months of working at home weekends. LOVED The Help...so much so that after my book club read it, I downloaded it to my IPad so that I could "read" it again.
Will have to check out the book.
But I hate shopping for clothes.I buy, take home, try on, and most often return immediately.
It's so nice to have a good book, and that was a great one. Enjoy your Sunday. You are so good with your daily posts, so fun for folks like me that like a little something new each day. Inspired by your 15 miles!
Yeah...and the older I get, the less I like to see myself in that lingerie! Give me some 100% cotton...elastic waist and call it a day!
I have seen that book in our local bookstore, but had not really check it out. Now I will definitely look at twice and probably will pick it up. It is always nice to hear good reviews when you are on the fence about a book... Hugs.HHL
Thanks for visiting my blog. Wow 15 miles! I remember once riding my bike from Santa Monica,CA to Playa Del Ray. You pass Venice Beach and the Marina on the way.
What a great idea to pack a deck of cards when you bike ride. A little diversion while you catch your breath and have a bit of coffee.
