Today is my blog's 3rd birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUSTABEACHKAT! According to my dashboard, I have written My first post written on August 16, 2005 was short and sweet:

I wrote for almost a year before I received my first blog friend comment (from a non-family member or close family friend). Thanks so much Cheryl for being my first blog friend and sticking with me for the last three years. Thank you ALL for making this "World of Blogging" so special. I started my blog as just a way to put my thought down and record what was going on in my life, never dreaming it would be a way for me to make and meet so many wonderful people literally around the world. Thank you Lord for this gift.

The "girls" left this morning, so it's quiet and a little lonely around here. The ONLY good thing about that is that I might have some time to come visit all my blogging buddies. Mixed feeling for sure!

I just got a call from Beth's Mom and she had to take Beth back to the emergency room this morning. Her right hand is swollen and painful. They are admitting her (again). She is anemic and her white blood count is up which means infection I think? Barbara said they are worried about a blood clot. Please send up a prayer that it's nothing serious. Soooo...I'm out the door and heading to the hospital...again.

Happy 3rd b'day Kat! I feel like such a newbie since I only started blogging last December but it is such an outlet not to mention the wonderful blog friends I'm "met"....it feels almost like a family, doesn't it?

Oh Happy Blog Birthday Sweet Kat! I remember you were one of the first of my blogging friends when I got started and you always amazed me with your faith and hope. You were like a kindred spirit calling out to me. We both have fight and gumption to spare, and a Love of the Lord that knows no bounds...He made us what we are, and we are so lucky. I feel so lucky to know you and through you George...I do hope he is all over that awful pain he was having...I even discussed it with my Dad, lol, who said it sounded like Sciatica...the old War House has been known to diagnose continents away lol...Hope your day is continually blessed and that you get a good nights rest. 1,235 posts. That is mind numbing and finger numbing and butt numbing! I cannot imagine---I think my number is 51! :-) Well, you are a wonderful blogger and I guess all of that practice has paid off! You have such a natural presentation--just like I was sitting in the same room with you--just chatting away. I think that is the sign of a great blog---so natural. I know you'll miss your girls, but it looks like you got in alot of visiting, eating, games and you even had your mom working in your yard for you! ;-) I would love it if my mom was still here on earth so I could dig in the dirt and jabber with her--just for a while. I sure to miss her.
