HERE CHICKIE CHICK

Tuesday night:

We had a blast today playing Chicken Foot, using our Double Twelve Dominoes.
What a fun day! I went to my Abs & Ball exercise class early this morning and then did nothing but play. Play games that is. Mom, Sherry and I did our normal routine...games, laugh, eat food and chocolate and drink a glass of wine....the perfect way to enjoy being together. It rained most of the day, but we sure didn't care. It's a little after 11:00 PM now and I can still hear the rain...perfect for sleeping, which I'm about to do...but it might mess up my tennis in the morning. That's okay though. I'm sure we'll find more fun things to do. I hope the rain stops though 'cause I'd love to play some tennis and Mom has brought some perennials we want to get planted.
~~~~~~
BTW...two pieces of good news today. George was released from physical therapy. Yeah! And Beth got to go home from the hospital. She's still very week from the chemo she recently had, but her Mom is staying for a few more weeks to help her.
That's good news all around, isn't it? Sleep good to the sound of rain. That's the best, for sure. Our weather was just perfect again today, no humidity at all. We can sleep with the windows open and listen to the soothing sound of the cicadas.
Kat, I am so glad you girls are playing games again, visiting, eating and most of all sharing it with all of us!
So glad to hear George is better and that your friend seems to be on the road to recovery.
Thank God for his care in our lives.
Enjoy your family and make great memories with them.
Much love,
Sheila
I just caught up on your recent posts. You do have good times rolling right now! What a relief to have your husband feeling like his old self AND to have two such special visitors! It sounds like you guys are just having so much fun--keep it up!
One of my favorite games :) My mom and dad play that quite a bit as well as pegs and jokers... have you played that one? It is a lot of fun!
