THANKS FOR THE PRAYERS

***this post was imported over from my other blog Beachkat/Starting Over****

"Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only saps today of its joy."
~Leo Buscaglia

Ain't it the truth! Worry did rob me yesterday. And worry never changes a thing I've heard.

But today is a day of JOY!!!!!

I had my mammogram this morning and all is good. And...best of all our new next door neighbor is a new Radiologist at our hospital and he actually read my mammogram today. And the best news...no changes!!!! Thank you Lord! And thank YOU for your prayers.

They also did ultrasound, but I don't have those results yet.

Since George is playing golf today, I decided to celebrate by spending the day sunning by our pool. And wouldn't you know it...I just got all settled in with a good book and I heard something and looked up and a couple of guys were coming into the fence. It gave me a good scare until I saw they were carrying bundles of pine straw. (Our landscape service puts in new pine straw whenever it's needed so we never really know when they're coming.) You won't believe how fast I put on my coverup and dashed inside! LOL I decided to make my lunch and do a little blogging while they work. Sure hope they finish soon. It's just too pretty to stay inside today.

Hugs and kisses,
Kat

Awesome news, Kat! Make George take you out for a celebration dinner after you enjoy the sunshine and your book. I'm jealous because all we have here is rain and cold. Our pool is never going to warm up.

This is such good news. You are a shining example to all of us...a great role model and someone who reminds us all to do our monthly checks and yearly mammograms. Enjoy your time in the sun.

So glad that you got a good report...I had been thinking of you all day....

I need to schedule one....it is one of few things that paralyzes me with fear...everytime..

I have never had a bad one or even a scare but the waiting is just a phobia.

I need to move next door to a radiologist.

Glad you got your results FAST.

Wonderful news, Kat. I've found that so many things that I "worry" about never come to pass. When that happens, I always say I worried about that for nothing. Peace of mind is worth more than just about anything.

Hi Kat,
Great report = GREAT NEWS!

Too funny about the landscape guys. Atleast you heard them, same thing happen to me...but I never heard them, I was soaking up the sun and the music and when I looked up ...THEY WERE THERE!
Have a great night,

Awesome! Funny story too. I thought you were going to say a thunderstorm came just as you settled in. That's how our days have been all week.

Good for you for having your yearly squeeze! I'm faithful about it too, as unpleasant as it is. I'm glad you got the 'all clear' and I hope that your ultrasound provides the same message.

What's pine straw? I suppose it must be some sort of mulch for the garden, but who knows.......?
