FEEL MY HEAD....

***this post was imported over from my other blog Beachkat/Starting Over****

'cause I must have a fever!

It must be the heat or something, but lately I'm eating more fruit than chocolate!!!

I know...I'm shocked too. LOL

I haven't been too hungry lately (thank you Lord), but I'm craving fruit all the time. Peaches, blueberries, strawberries, watermelon, apples......

I was just sitting here at my computer doing some blog reading and munching on my blueberries, when I had to laugh since usually that cute little custard cup is filled with M&Ms!

Hugs and kisses,
Kat

(yep, my desk IS always that messy)

Yep, you must be ill.

:-)

Your desk looks lovely all mussed up like that. It looks used and loved.

It is the heat I think Kat. Our bodies crave and really need those electrolytes that fruit can give. When I have been out sweating away in the garden I find that I really want fresh juices and melon. Anyway, when I take M&Ms outside now, they melt into something that looks vaguely doggy-like.

Good for you. I just made a big fruit salad this afternoon to snack on. It is hotter than blazes here and fruit tastes really good to me.

Hi Kat...

WOW that is one honking magnifying glass....I could fit 5 of mine inside that LOL

I just read your post about your Father...very touching...your Dad must have been young, I lost my Dad 11/1/1995 he was never sick a day in his life...maybe a little cold here or there...and just like that he was gone...such a shock!!!

Still HOT AS HECK down there??....I think we may get a little summer by the end of the week...it has been so cool and rainy here...

All the best,
Kathy :)

I love fruit too, of any kind. I just got a delicious watermelon last week. This week it is fresh peaches, blueberries, strawberries, bananas (of course) and cantalope. I could eat my weight in fruit everyday! Hope your week goes well. Love & blessings from NC!

You know,Kat, I may have that same fever, because I've been craving more fruit and less chocolate. Is this contagious?;-)

Good for you. I'm a fruit-a-holic too. There's so much good stuff to choose from this time of year. Blueberries are hard to beat, especially mixed with watermelon and cantaloupe.

I'm with ya! I crave apples and oranges every day and can't get enough! Not big on blueberries, though.

I just love summertime and fresh fruit!!!

I read this as I was eating my blueberries! Do you have a Costco in your neck of the woods?? They always have great blueberries at a great price. I buy lots and freeze them!!

Aww, Kat, so sorry you had a rough Father's Day. I am so blessed to still have both my parents & I really don't take it for granted anymore. Got to spend as much time as I can with them now.

Ha-ha on the chocolate. I love fruit too & am so happy the peaches are in. Enjoy!

My desk is always messy too.

Fresh fruit is refreshing in the summer time. Chocolate is refreshing any time.
I can relate to your post about your Dad. I miss my Daddy too. I think there is just something special between daddies and daughters.

It was nice to have a catch-up on your posts - you have been busy! Perhaps that's the reason for your fruit craving.....your body knows!

You and your friend had quite a trip for that second opinion. You're lucky to have such a brave friend and she'l lucky to have you to go with her for such a big appointment - what a team!

Good for you on the fruit! I've been on a cauliflower kick myself...isn't that bizarre?!

Have a great day!
