WEDNESDAY THIS AND THAT

Look at this t-shirt I saw today at Cracker Barrel. Perfect for me!!! (I didn't buy it, but I sure thought about it.)

~~~~~~
Brrrrr...we're still having cold weather here in the sunshine state. It was too cold for tennis this morning, so you know it was cold.
~~~~~~
Tonight our friends Dick and Linda invited us over for dinner and card games. We had so much fun. But....it's almost midnight and I know I won't be able to sleep for awhile. I am so stuffed! Why, oh why did I eat so much!!!! Linda made some oh so yummy stuffed peppers, salad, and hot crusty bread. (Linda makes hers with red bell peppers stuffed with ground round, brown rice, onions and spices. Kinda like a meatloaf. Then she made a marinara and sour cream gravy to put over the top.) But the killer was hot blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream. It was all good, but I feel almost nauseous now. (carbs, carbs, carbs!)
~~~~~~
I saw this on an e-mail today:
"Do not ask the Lord to Guide your Footsteps if you are not willing to move your Feet"
Hugs and kisses,
Kat
That shirt has my name written all over it. I LOVE CHOCOLATE!!! I might just have to run out to Cracker Barrel and pick me up one of those shirts. It would be cute with some PJ bottoms I saw at Target. What a yummy dinner and a sweet friend! It is really cold here too. I especially loved your saying. How true. I added it to my journal of sayings. Sleep good!
Love & blessings from NC.
Hey Kat...sorry it's been so long since I popped over! I find I just don't have as much to visit every one as much as I use to...or even post!
But I was just catching up a bit...did your son invent the game featured in Sky mag? I checked out the page...how cool is that!
And that t-shirt made me smile since it's that time of the month and I just was nibbling in a bag of chocolate chips! :)
Anyway, I wanted to say hi and that I hope to stop over a little more often!
Hugs,
~Tammy
Our extreme cold is wearing me down. They're talking about temps in the 40's on Friday. We will think it's summer.
I also fell off the discipline wagon since the weekend. Somehow I convinced myself that with all the excitement over a grandson's birth , I should be able to eat whatever I want! Oh, the excuses we use!
I love the shirt, I think you need it! Sounds like a great supper too.
Are you saying Carb Overload? I hear you girl! You're going to need it though if it stays cold like I've been seeing your temps on TV. We're heading for a warm up today and tomorrow, Sunday is gonna be the killer weatherwise for us. Stay warm. Love that shirt. xxoo
Cute T-Shirt! I'd wear it!!!
I love the quote you found in your email. Very good!!!
We're having a HEAT WAVE up here, just over the Michigan/Ohio border (we're 1/2 mile into Michigan)!! A high of 32 predicted for today!!! First time at or near freezing in over a week!!!
Now...that's too cold for tennis. And besides, we can't even find the tennis courts - with about a foot of snow still on the ground. LOL!!!
Yummo!
Stuffed peppers sound yummy right now! Bob makes ours using his mom's meatloaf recipe and rice. He stuffs the peppers and sprinkles them with cheese and bakes. mmmmm.
