IF FLIP FLOPS COULD SMILE....

What a gorgeous day! If flip flops could smile, mine sure was smiling today! It was a day for:

flip flops

convertible tops down

walking

riding bikes

golfing

tennis

time on the beach

you name it....gorgeous!

~~~~~~
Speaking of flip flops....I found this hysterical cartoon. I'm surprised my feet don't look like his!!!!!!!!!
~~~~~~
George and I just couldn't stay inside today. We took Miss Daisy for a long walk and ended up at the village for lunch. We sat outside. Oh, how good it felt.
~~~~~~
After we got home, we decided to bike over to the beach.
I hate my voice, so please just turn your volume down and enjoy the view. (I was talking as quietly as I could so no one would wonder what the crazy lady with the camera was doing. LOL)
There wasn't one person in the pool at the beach club this afternoon...I was surprised.
We stopped by an empty lot right on the bay on the way home. So peaceful!
~~~~~~
I hope your day was good too!

Hugs and kisses,
Kat

I loved hearing your voice! God certainly has created a beautiful world for us, hasn't he? Your beaches and my snow - so different, yet so beautiful!

I had an awesome day today, but it wasn't due to the warm weather. LOL!! It is cold here. BRRR!!! Thanks for the beach video. It gave me my beach fix for the day! I posted about you on my blog. Thanks for your sweet post about me! I love flip flops too, but I'll have to wait a while to wear mine. We are expecting some icy mix here tonight. It is still winter here. At least my daffodils are just peaking out of the ground. Spring is coming!!!
Take care. Love & blessings from NC!

Thank you so much for the video!! The waves are saying "come play"!! I just know they are!

When we were there we stayed in Niceville with my sister and rode bikes down to the bay there two blocks from her home...there it was that I first saw the dolphins...can we say love at first sight??

Let me get on my flip flops and I'll be right down...
You do live in a beautiful place...I've always said, "Give me the ocean or the mountains."
After living in Savannnah for so many years, I'm happy to be in the mountains now.
Enjoy,
Kit

ps...I was expecting you to sound much more "Southern"...

Your voice is exactly what I thought it would be. That delicate little southern drawl. The sound of the ocean was awesome. Thanks so much as you know I am a beach girl. We just don't get that kind of sound at the Harbor. :) xxoo

Thank you sooooo much for show us the sights of sounds of your paradise today. I really needed to hear the ocean, because my background noise right now is sleet pelting down on our house. YUCK!!!!

I cannot wait to pull out the ole flip flops this year. Or should I say new ones....ya know a girls always gotta have a couple pair of new cute ones every year!

I'm just so thrilled! Yes the video was gorgeous, but I'm psyched because I got to hear your voice!! I detected a bit of that "southerness" in it! Love that!

Why do we all hate to hear ourselves on recordings?

Kat your voice is just as pretty as you are!
And the pictures oh my
how serene and beautiful.

Just amazing! And PLEASE!! I loved hearing your voice again. No way was I going to turn the speakers off! So we're not having anything close to warm weather, but I'm in State College and my heart is WARM!!! You must come look at the pictures I posted just a while ago. Anthony got a new camera yesterday and it makes a beautiful baby even more beautiful!

Great pics, Kat! Oh, I am anxious for a trip to the beach! Maybe soon.

It was a beautiful day here today too. It felt like spring had come already!

You have a wonderful voice & just a hint of southerness. Most people don't like hearing themselves speak, so you're not alone.
Paradise is certainly where you live...we are getting a snow storm tomorrow! Just as pretty as the beach but in a different way.

Congratulations on your good mothering award in your previous post, Kat. From everything I have seen and read on your blog, you are most worthy of such a recognition. Have a beautiful week...

Great video Kat! Makes me want to go and put my feet in the sand. I actually wore my flipflops all weekend. Had to take them off when we landed back in Cincy and it was 20 degrees. LOL BTW, you have a lovely voice and you do live in a beautiful place.
