I know I've said it before, but I sure do love my daughter-in-law, Angela. We have a special relationship...she's not just my daughter-in-law, she's my friend too. It's so easy for us to talk and share. We have great conversations. Short trips like this one always leaves me wanting more. I am blessed to have her in my life.

I arrive home to a nice surprise. My sweet friend, Karen at Karen's Ramblings, awarded me the "One Sweet Treat to Read" award. Coming from her, it makes it even more special! Thank you so much Karen! And last Friday I got another sweet surprise when Jennifer at The Beaufort Lookout awarded me "The Christmas Spirit Award". Since I received this a few days ago and passed it on, I won't pass it on again, but receiving it a second time is just as special because this is a special award which I don't take lightly.

I'm glad you had fun AND a safe trip. Those visits like that, and having to leave, are exactly why I'm NOT looking forward to my nieces moving. (I'm still praying that doesn't come to fruition though!)
