FIRST THINGS FIRST

Sigh....the kids left this morning around 10:00. What a great time we had this week! Lots of good hugs, kisses, snuggles, giggles and conversation. It's always hard to say goodbye for me though. Sigh......

After they left, I made a trip to the library, worked out at Curves, and then picked up some lunch. I'm back home now and there's lots of things calling my name. Such as...............

There's laundry to do............. There's ironing to do..........................

Lots of cleaning and straightening up to do.............................

There's paperwork and mail to catch up on........................... I REALLY want to catch up on all my blog reading and find out what all my blog sistas have been up to (and I will very soon)..................................

I have a few good books waiting patiently for me to pick them up............................
I was doing so well on my low carb diet until the ice cream, pizzas, Mexican food, etc., so I must get back to being "good" again........................................

But....this is what I'm doing first...a good, long afternoon nap.......

I only have one Grandaughter,(+1 on the way), but the joy she gives me is unbelievable.
She has been with me twice this week, and as the weather here in England has been awful, we have spent the time indoors, playing, cuddling and watching Hanna Montana and Scooby Doo on T.v.
I have loved reading your posts this week, they have radiated happiness and love.
Enjoy your well earned rest, it probably wont be long untill you are all together again.

I'm glad you had a good week. I have those things to do around here too and I haven't even had company...I just hate doing them! :-) And that nap, I am ALWAYS ready for a nap....anyday, anytime!

We love our grandkids but we do get tired! It is a good thing that their parents are young and can handle day after day of their energy.

After our trip to VA to see our grandkids, we arrived home and sat and stared! LOL! We were soooo tired!

But, we WILL be going back in a few weeks to see them again. That will be a fun time!

Glad you got to enjoy yours. I know how sad it is when they leave.

Oh gosh. Take an extra nap for me. I loved reading about your kids/grandkids' visit. And all the ice cream!

Good Luck with your nap! It seems like every time I want a nap, there are "things" needing to be done and my nap becomes a long list of chores.... Sounds like you had a great week with family! Wonderful pictures!
