July 7, 2007....07-07-07
There are certain dates on the calendar when travelers know that hotel rooms in prime vacation spots will be nearly impossible to come by, even if they book months in advance. And today was one of those dates - the almost numerically perfect 7/07/07...a date sought by couples around the world as the ideal day for a wedding date. Others think it will bring them luck. They will win the lottery or will sell property, etc.
Me...I just think it's day to reflect on what I'm thankful for. Here's just seven things I'm so very thankful for (in no particular order):
1. my health
2. my marriage
3. my family
4. my friends
5. my church
6. my freedom
7. chocolate :-)

Nice post! Have a blessed Sunday!
Now THAT'S a great thing to post about for yesterday...and original if you ask me. I just wish I had thought of it too!
Great post Kat! We all have alot of things to be thankful for, don't we?
wonderful post! It's always great to reflect on the things for which we are thankful.
...and I'm thankful for you, dear friend! You have ministered to me and encouraged me in so many ways!
Love ya!
Great list of things to be thankful for. I hope these couples know they need a lot more than "luck" to make a marriage work.
Have a blessed Sunday my friend.
Ha! I knew chocolate would be in there. So...do tell...what kind of chocolate do you like best?
My niece, Hillary, was one of the many who got married 7/7/07.
Great perspective, Kat! I'm so very thankful as well.
Thanks everyone. You're all included when I say I am thankful for my friends. Your friendship is special to me.
Jill...I guess my favorite chocolate would be the dark chocolate. But, I love it all.
:-)
Hugs!
Kat

I like this idea of sharing "7" things you are thankful for. I am going to take this one on loan!
Have a great evening!
Great things to be thankful for, Kat! I'm with you on all of them. I had to laugh at Miss Daisy in the conehead get-up...poor girl! Glad she is better now.
And Yes, I do think y'all should get another boat. You were just made for a boat...you 2 are such a purdy couple!

Hi...not sure if this is my first time visiting or now, but I keep seeing you around and wanted to say hi!
Loved visiting today...such a fun blog! Your little dog is adorable...hope she's feeling better, too!
Blessings!
I used to make a list of three things I was thankful for everyday over on 43 Things (43things.com). I really need to get back to that. It is a great practice to get into!
