It's easy to clip on to the back of my pool chair or the arm of a beach chair.
Perfect to keep the sun off my face and hair. I hate having to wear a hat....too hot and I don't like "hat hair"...LOL!
I'm still not getting in the pool (other than a VERY quick dip right by the stairs) although I haven't seen a "you know what" in weeks. Thank you Lord.Good news...so far, no oil on our beaches.
Bad news...George hasn't been feeling good so we had to cancel our dental appointments. Chills, fever, aching, no appetite. The doctor thinks it's viral. First his fall and now this. Bless his heart. He's had a rough 10 days.

Poor George needs to see a Dr. or make a trip to the ER. He might have some type of internal injury that can't be seen from the outside. He definitely is running fever, poor thing.

Jack is sick too....tomorrow to the cardiologist...had a few problems on the cruise...and we need to find out the source...He is never sick and the last few months it has been one thing after another....
I am so ready for him to feel good again...Hope George is better tomorrow...

Poor George. When it rains it pours! Hope he has better days. My daughter purchased that umbrella and uses it outside when her special ed class has recess. She said she is the most popular teacher on the playground as all the kids want to sit with her under the umbrella and tell her all their families gossip:-) I think your snakes cousin lives in my flower bed and I am sure you heard my screams all the way to Florida! Gave me the willies!

Poor George so glad if this had to happen it happened AFTER the wedding !!
Also I'm glad there is no oil, saw on TV last night that hay can absorb it...wonder why they haven't tried that yet ??

I am going to see if our CVS has those. Thanks for showing that. Your pool/patio looks fabulous. Sorry your still not using the pool. Is there any service that you could call down there that could come do a snake check and check those rocks for you?
Well, there is a CVS within walking distance (well...some people could walk...not me!) anyway, I go in there at least once or twice a week..I'm scout out one of those under-brellas (as my Ian used to say!)
I have some friends living at PCB and they say they don't have any oil yet. It still makes me want to bite nails when I think of it!

Kathy, Hope George is on the mend soon. Thanks for sharing all the pictures with us, especially me. I live in the "Great Northeast" NY and our temps tonight will be in the 40's!!! Like the umbrella, we'll be needing it for rain this week here and not sunshine. Hugs.
Alan had the same virus Thursday through Sunday. His fever was 101.6 and he was weak and ached all over. My neighbor who is a doctor had it at the same time. It must be all over the country. I am so sorry that George has to endure it too! Life is not fair!
May none of the rest of us get it!
