HEART SICK

So sad.

We have tar balls on our beautiful beach.

I haven't been to see them myself, but I've heard they are small and are being cleaned up right away. The beach is open and crowded.

But still.....

"Father, help me to be a blessing to someone today."

I heard on the news. I hope it doesn't get worse. It's just such a terrible situation. Hard to fathom the amount of oil out in our once beautiful gulf.

I hate to hear this. Please continue to update us. I'm torn, as to whether or not to cancel reservations we have in August. It will break my heart if it comes to that. Let's pray for a miracle.

My sweet friend..
I too am heartsick and devastated..
and try as I may to not look..
I'm drawn, almost compelled to look..
and still find it so hard to believe..
our beautiful world is being destroyed..
environmentally as well as economically..
and there is absolutely nothing we can do to stop it!
tearfully sad..

We are all so heartsick! Pensacola beach is just black! I have a sister and brother there and they're so upset. Their economy was just recovering from Ivan!

This is just a horrible situation.

I am so sorry. What a terrible waste and such devastation and suffering. How much longer will it destroy our planet? Will they ever get it stopped?

It seems the news keep getting worse. I am glad it is still cleanable, but I fear some areas will be/are overwhelmed.

Although we blame the government and certain admininstrations, the regulations and policies, of lack thereof, and neglect of oversight and enforcement began the day the first gasoline powered car rolled out.

I own a hybrid car which still uses gasoline. I am waiting for an electric car or hydrogen car which is affordable. It probably will not happen in my lifetime.,

We haven't had any come down this far. I went to Lido beach on Saturday and participated in the Hands Across the Sand peaceful demonstration. I really can't believe they are still talking about "to drill or not to drill" THIS IS NOT A Question!!!!!!! I am sorry about your beach!
