FRUSTRATION

"BP officials are now saying the campaign to clean it up could last until fall. That’s why they call it a campaign. You know why it’s called a campaign? Because it’s like an election. It’s dirty, it’s slimy, it never seems to end."
~Jay Leno

The oil isn't on our beaches yet. But it's getting closer and closer....

Sigh!

"Father, help me to be a blessing to someone today."

I keep praying that they'll find a solution before a drop touches that white sand. I just can't bear the thought of how the ecosystem is going to rebound from this. xxoo

I'm glad they are keeping this in the news, but it really upsets me to see the pictures of this mess. I think of you every time I see the oil near a beach. And the wildlife that is affected - how sad!

A newscaster said yesterday that all the death in the sea around the coast in the southern states reminds him of the prophecy in the Bible about 1/3 of the waters turning to blood.

I think that God is using the Earthquakes, Volcanic ash and this BP accident to give us a little glimps of what the future is going to look like here on earth. He is a merciful God and gives us plenty of warning before disaster comes. He is sloooow to wrath. So slow that people say, "Where is his coming? They have been saying this all our lives, and He has not come." He will. It is a promise. I am so looking forward to His coming. After seeing that plume of vocanic ash, I certainly don't want to be here when judgment falls on this earth. We don't have to be here. I choose not to be here. I choose Christ!

Kat--I feel so awful about "our" beautiful beaches and wildlife being threatened by this mess. It is so frustrating to hear about it every day and yet see no solutions.

Jay Leno made a funny joke but it is all too sad. Honestly we are glued to the news every day. We are working with a builder to add an addition and a total remodel. I was picking out cabinets this week and came home and walked along the ocean and was wondering if we should go thru with the addition if we may be surrounded by oil. Can you imagine the amount of people who have second homes on the coast that just walk away and then there will be foreclosures they never sell.
