NO, PLEASE!

Today's the first day of hurricane season. Please God, no hurricanes this year!
This is the only reason I can think of that it's hard to live on the beach.

I will be saying my prayers for you this summer (and for my DS, who's working in West Palm this summer, too). I feel as if the FL coast is my second home, and that I've been a guest for so many years of the wonderful people who live there. I kind of take the hurricanes a bit personally myself. I wish you a storm-free season.

I was just reading your bio on your sidebar...I didn't realize that you are a grandmother and breast cancer survivor. You are a beautiful grandmother! :) and I wish you continued blessings of good health.

I hope that you have a wonderful weekend! xo

I don't live on the beach, but I still agree, "No hurricanes this year, God."

Thanks Andrea for your sweet comment. I have NINE grandchildren and I love them all. People find it hard to believe that I have nine especially when they ask me their ages. As soon as I say they range in ages from two to 18, they definitely find it hard to believe. I then have to explain that some are by my stepson and stepdaughter. I guess in their eyes, they think it makes a difference. It doesn't. They might not all be mine "by blood", but they are definitely mine "by heart". I love them all...very much. One son is in the process of adopting a little girl from China so she will be the tenth grandchild. Our youngest daughter isn't married, so we hope to have more after she does.
