WFMW - RECYCLE OLD SOCKS

Here's what I see sometimes after some good, hard tennis. Holes in my socks.
I used to just throw the socks out. Now I cut the tops off and use them for wristbands.

These are great for use with any exercise or gardening, etc.
They're not pretty, but hey, who cares? They work for me! And you can use the bottoms for dusting.
For more great ideas, go here.

Ooh, wouldn't want my kiddos to see that trick. We'd have tons of nifty wristbands and no socks! Great idea though! ~Karlie

Old kids socks are good to have around for band-aid holder-oners. Just snip off the toe and cut a small hole in the heel where you'll insert your thumb. My kids are always getting a splinter or an ouch on their hand that needs a band-aid, and of course band-aids don't really stay on hands very well.
