I'm amazed every time (and I truly mean every time) I visit the blog of my blog friend, Heather. I'm not real sure how long I've been reading her blog, but I do remember how shocked and saddened I was when I learned about her malignant brain tumor in April. She was already impressing me with her faith and how she has handled the struggles and joys with her daughter who had a heart transplant when she was just 5 months old. Heather had her surgery and is now going through radiation and chemotherapy. Her strength amazes, inspires and awes me daily. Her faith is rock solid and she teaches me something every day. There's no doubt, God has BIG plans for Heather and I'm enjoying tagging along for the ride to watch it happen.
Keep alert, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong.

I've been keeping up with Heather too and you are right...she amazes me as well. And just think, if it weren't for the blogging world, we wouldn't even know about her!
I can't remember if I already commented on this post Kat, but I was just at Heather's site earlier today.
Dianne makes such a good point, we wouldn't know Heather if we weren't bloggers... I started visiting Heather before her cancer diagnosis and was shocked when it all happened. But, I am believing that the outcome is going to be wonderful, I'm expecting a wonderful recovery for her. It's hard to put your feelings out there so openly when things are so hard, she is blessing so many people with her faith and with her courage.
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!
I've been reading Heather for a while also and pray for her. She's got the sweetest spirit and I can't wait to see what God's going to do with her through this.
I agree, Kat, her faith and strength through this whole ordeal has amazed me and made me ashamed of how I fail to trust God with some of the smallest things in my life.
It makes some of our worries look so trivial, doesn't it?!
She has touched more people than she will ever realize.
I too have been following Heather's blog, even before her diagnosis and her faith is such an inspiration. Another reason why I have fallen in love with the blogging world is that we can pray for each other and share one another’s burdens. I know you dealt with cancer and I too am a cancer survivor come December it will be my 10 year cancer free mark.
Have a blessed week.

I agree with all the other comments. She's an amazing spirit. Last month my sister-in-law's mother just had a brain tumor removed from the same Dr. that removed Heather's at the Mayo Clinic. God is also at work in me as now I know two people who had brain tumors removed by the same Dr. within two months of each other.
