Our friend, Carol, invited everyone over for a 4th of July cookout. What fun! Here's the "Hostess With The Mostest"

They grilled up several kinds of sausages and hotdogs. Yummy! There was all kinds of toppings, including sauerkraut, peppers and onions, mustards, etc., but my very favorite was a mango kiwi salsa. Good Golly Miss Molly...it was fantastic! Lots of salads, baked beans, potato casserole, etc. I made dessert.... Tina's Chocolate Chip Cake served with vanilla ice cream. It was a hit...again. Everyone loves it, so I'm always expected to bring it whenever we all get together. I don't mind...its easy and always good.
The party started at 5PM, so by 9PM everyone headed out to watch the fireworks. They were everywhere...the beach, the bay, the marina, the village. We took the golf cart to the party, so we just watched some on our way home. The sky was full of them all the way home. So pretty.~~~~~~
I hope your 4th was fun too. Thank you Lord for good friends and wonderful neighbors.

What a fun time! We watched the fireworks from a friend's house who lives on the Missouri River, the capitol was in the background... so lovely!
I love the idea of being able to take a golf cart to your friend's and drive home... that appeals to me on so many levels!
It sounds like the party was a lot of fun! Chocolate chip cake! Yum!

Looks like a great day with some fun folks. I had to work but had a nice evening.
We had a rather quiet relaxing day. It was very enjoyable. The last post you did was so cute. I love the picture. I know how you feel. Some days i think I could just spend the whole day on the computer. Some days I think my Hubby thinks I do.

Looks like a fun time with your friends. The sausages look wonderful, your firewoks phot looks great! Mine came out all fuzzy looking! LOL I have to take a look at that chocolate chip cake, I love anything with chocolate.
