I'LL BE OKAY, BUT....

It's silly, I know, but I'm feeling stressed.... because there's just not enough time in the day! Because I'm really really really behind on sooooo many things! Do you ever feel that way?

I apologize y'all that I've been a bad blogger friend. I've managed to do a post on my own blog most days and visit a few of you, but I just can't seem to get caught up. It stresses me out when I check my Bloglines and see 5 or 7 or 10 (yikes) posts on some of your blogs that I haven't read yet. I just can't seem to get caught up. It's my own fault though since I have 79...yes you read that right...79 blogs I enjoy visiting. It's crazy, but who do I delete? Not you, or you, or you! So, I just do the best I can when I can.

If I would just lock myself in our office for the day, I might get caught up....but...

it's gorgeous outside and I want to ride my bike with George

over to the gym and workout

have lunch at our favorite spot overlooking the bay

and I need to do some gardening

and water my plants

and put fresh sheets on the bed

and do laundry

and clean up my desk

and write some thank you notes

and something BIG hanging over my head...clean out my master closet

etc., etc., etc. (I'm stressed just making my list and knowing I'm using precious blog reading time complaining...LOL)

So...be patient with me...I'll get caught up eventually. Just know I'm thinking of you and praying for every single one of you every day.

I hope you too are enjoying Life! I think the most important thing on our "to do" list is enjoy life. And I do...every single day.

(Okay, I feel better now.)

Okay, Kat, I'll do you a favor and quit posting till you get caught up. Uh, just kidding!!

I'm feeling some of the same thing. Because I am so busy the whole school year, there are many things that wait for summer. As the years go by, the summer things don't get done and they keep piling up too - till the next summer....

Oh well, I AM having fun!

Never worry about checking blogs- do it in time plus we all know you have had a lot on the go recently.

I'm adding one more thing to my list per your suggestion: enjoy Life!

Thanks, Kat.

Hi Kat,
Can so relate to this post! I'm so busy trying to get ready for my painting convention and my list is getting done but stressing me out each time I look at it!
Fabulous to hear about your news and you're right "benign" is a beautiful word!
Hope you had a wonderful 4th of July.
Take care and God Bless!
Sandy :)

We spent the entire day cleaning yesterday which was the Fourth of July. I haven't been able to move furniture and clean well for a long time. Since Alan was home, he helped me deep clean. It feels so good today to sit in a clean house.

My children did call and that just made my day! I love hearing from them.

Just take a deep breath and keep working. You will eventually get on top of things.

The blogs will still be there, life may not.

OK that sounded a bit morbid, but it's potentially true.

Besides, if you didn't go out and live, you would have nothing to blog about.

And I love to hear about your life in paradise. But it presents a tough challenge...you live in paradise, who wants to stay inside?

I feel your "pain"?

We are a bit spoiled, I mean blessed.

I can so relate!

We arrived back in North Mississippi this evening...wow what a drive!

Destin was woderful! We thought about watching the fireworks last night in the village but there were sooooo many people. We did get the show that the Hilton put on though. FABULOUS!!!

We had a wonderful time but I am so glad to be back home. :)

I am so glad I had your blog to lead us around! :) Thank You!

Have a great evening!

Just breathe. Don't feel guilty about not being able to read or post comments on everyone's blog (all 79). However, make you a blog schedule. On Monday, vist blogs 1-10, on Tuesday 11-20, and so on. See how that works for you.

Even if you don't post a comment, that doesn't me we will love you any less. If you want to go outside and ride a bike, then do it. It's all good.

But whatever you do, don't get stressed out to the point that you will lose the love of blogging.

I think we all feel that way...so just do the best you can with all the things you want to do. But like everyone says enjoy your life, that's the most important thing!

Hello Kat...I'm going around visiting my blogs this afternoon. I have over 100 on my list and I try to get back to all who comment on my blog, also, on the list or not. So I'm a tad frantic today, because I did a post and am trying to get together a couple of scheduled posts, before we go back to the lake tomorrow!! Whew! Big sigh!

I heard you had some good news, but I haven't read your other posts yet!

Going for a drive now...need a couple photos for a post I'm working up.

Oh and our master closet is in serious need of a "redo"! But we're going to the lake anyway!

Have a wonderful week!
Pat

LOVE the cartoon. Somebody must have been peeking in my window.

Kat, don't worry about visiting all the blogs. We all just drop by to make sure you're doing well and catching up on a good blogging friend. Stop, breathe, relax. Enjoy life, that's what it's there for!

I actually take a couple of hours on Sunday to visit all the blogs I like. The next Sunday I pick up where I left off and just keep going in a circle.

Hey Kat,

I know what you mean. It is hard to get around to every one, every day. So, if you delete me, I'll understand....NOT!!!!!

Take it easy and don't worry 'bout the blogging!

Hi Kat,

I'm in the same boat with being behind in reading everyone's blogs. Some days are just so full but it's a good full and it sounds like you have alot of good and fun things going on. Love the advise about enjoying life. Have a great week!!

I know what you mean about having so many things to do. Sometimes I want to do so many things that I can't decide which one I want to do first.
One way to look at it is, it's certainly better to want to do too many things than have nothing you want to do. Things are never dull or boring when you are happy with life. Just do what you can and just don't worry about the things you can't get done. They will still be there tomorrow. :-)

Kat,

You are too much girl! Don't delete anyone from the list, but feel free to delete a few posts and catch up when you can!

I haven't been able to visit with much of anyone lately and it is killing me and I also like to reply to all comments on my blog and well, I have had about 40+ sitting in my inbox for a couple weeks now and I had to finally delete them and start over. I hated it, but it was really stressing me out and dh (dear hubby) suggested a fresh start.

xoxo,
Melissa

My mom always says, "Just do the next thing." :) Blogging is for fun and a great hobby, not a stress. Feel freedom in only reading what you have time to read. Your posts are great and you do a wonderful job.

Well, clean sheets are a priority Right? But feeding our "blogging addictions" is a pretty high priority as well! LOL

I'm a little anxious as I'll be in the mountains for the next 2 wks. and I'm not sure how much internet access I'll have! Yikes!

Oh and please pray for Shane, He had had a bad cold which as of last night, seems to have settled into his ears so we're off the the pediatrician in a bit to get whatever is needed to help him feel better, as we are supposed to leave for our vacation tomorrow morning!

Silly girl.. take your time. I will be out of town for about a week anyway and am not sure if I am going to blog until I get back. Blogging is suppose to be fun, not add to your stress load!

I have had you on my heart all day today - you must be needing prayer today, so I will happily oblige. Hope you are feeling better... get some rest and enjoy another one of those beautiful sunsets you have on your blog and soak up some of God's goodness in life!

Kat...
I know exactly what you mean and how you are feeling...I have been stressing about the same thing myself. I'll just tell you..."don't worry"...then I'll try to listen to my own advice. You do a much better job about keeping up than I have been doing...with the wedding just finishing up and then trying to get ready to leave for 12 days...in a few weeks...well, I'm a bit overwhelmed myself...so badly so...that I have missed several of my very fav gals postings...and I don't like it when that happens!

Hang in there...we'll catch up sometime...soon...in the meantime...ENJOY what you are doing...b/c it is by far the most important!

Blessings....
Teresa
