LAZY

What did I accomplish today?

Nothing!

Things I did today:

Breakfast (cereal)
Church
Lunch (we stopped after church)
I worked out at the gym
I came home and took a LONG nap
Dinner (tomato sandwich and chips)

See! I didn't cook one meal. I did nothing. I've been a slug. No wonder I feel sluggish! And sleepy. I've got tennis in the morning at 8 AM, so I'm off to bed... night night!

From Kat

(I spoke too soon yesterday...George is still suffering. He's walking the floor as I type. Hopefully, his physical therapy tomorrow will help.)

It's good to be a slug sometimes... your body needs some rest from all the stress lately. Will be praying for George (and you) in the coming days.

I know what you mean about feeling sluggish. :) I haven't exercised in way too long. I am starting today. It's good for our bodies to rest. :) Hope George was able to sleep some.

Poor George, prayers for pain relief, hope he gets over this soon...we all know that it is much worse for men...and that is a perfect Sunday if you ask me...and tomato sandwiches and chips! I fried Patty Pan squash for supper, it's all we wanted, lol then watched Vantage Point...wonderful movie!!! Hope George is better today!

That's what Sundays are for! ;) You DID go to the gym though, more than me - I never go on Sundays (bad me)!

Remember it's summer, you're supposed to be lazy. And hey, you did work out. Also Sunday is a day of rest.

Hope George feels better today.

Sounds like a perfect Sunday to me, Kat. I did much of the same but attended an Animal Friends fashion show. It was rather amusing...dogs, cats, and bunnies accompanied the models on the walk down the runway.

Kat -Don't you know making a tomato sandwich in the summer counts as cooking! :) Those are my favorite summer dinner. Have a blessed day!!!

FYI-My brother is in PCB right now for 10 days. I wanted to go with him and drive to Destin. Hopefully I can meet you sometime.

It's always nice to have a few of these days to do absolutly nothing. Take advantage of it and rest and relax.

Hi Kat,

Sounds like the perfect kind of day to me. Poor George, I know how frustrating that can be. I will keep praying for him. Take care!!

Oh, yay--a relaxing day! I have to tell you, I'm a tad bit jealous! BTW, I'm having another Great Pop'rs Giveaway, starting tomorrow. Aunt Julie really needs the help of all her Bloggy Pals--she's planning a rehearsal dinner for 60 people! Hope you drop by soon!

You have a right to rest on Sundays, RIGHT! If God rested after his week then so should you. Don't feel guilty, my friend.

I sure hope that George gets some relief soon and relief that lasts. I have had burning legs since March 7. It makes it rather hard to sit. I mentioned it to my doctor last Monday and she said that it is probably my sciatic nerve. I took an Ibuprofen and now I have relief!I couldn't believe that I have suffered so long and all that I had to do was take a pill.

I hope that George's answer comes as easily.
