Me with Miss Daisy, Sherry, Bree with Hershey and MomGeorge and I surprised Bree with a massage gift certificate this morning. She has been working so hard, both at her job and also painting the mural at the hospital, so her back and neck have been stiff. She was thrilled. While she went for her appointment, I spent the morning cooking and getting ready for Mom and Sherry's arrival. I baked a cake, made chicken salad for our lunch tomorrow, made a pitcher of sweet tea, baked some pecans, and then put a roast with carrots, potatoes and onions in the oven to slow cook. Just as I was cleaning the kitchen and putting things away, they arrived. It's wonderful to have everyone here. We had a great time playing lots of games, including Mexican Train, Phase Ten, and a card game that friends taught us. Bree made a spicy Mexican type dip for our happy hour and I put out cheese and crackers and some nuts. The roast and veggies and hot rolls were yummy for dinner, followed by cake and coffee. There's always plenty of laughing when we're all together. Thank you God for my family. And thank you God for a husband who doesn't mind all the craziness of us girls. ; - )

How are the pooches doing? Is Miss Daisy able to share her toys? They are cute pups. Glad you are all together and having a great time.
You make me want to be there - playing games, laughing, eating all that good food. I'm glad too that Dick doesn't mind 'girl craziness' - in fact, I think he rather enjoys it!
