MY PRINCE FROG

We've had our condo on the beach for sale since before we moved into the new house in November, as well as one on the harbor. We've had some showings, but it's been slow due to the holidays and the winter months. But now things are picking up. Finally! Yippee! We had two showings just today and Fridays are not good days usually. Saturdays and Sundays are much better. Anyway, we've got our fingers and toes crossed that something will happen soon.

I've had a few "signs" recently that our luck might be changing, if you believe in those type things, that is.

1. I've found two shiny new pennies, heads up. I keep one on my desk by my computer (since that's where I spend alot of time) and one in my car (because that's where I am alot too).

2. My left palm has been itching like crazy lately and I've always heard that means you're coming into some money. Oh, wouldn't that be nice?!

3. Yesterday, when I was out watering some plants in my planters by the pool, I looked down and saw a cute frog desperately trying to find a way out of the pool. I used my empty watering can and rescued him. As I gently placed him in the pinestraw, I said out loud "I saved you, so if you're a prince, here's my wish. Please sell my two condos. Thank you". He didn't say anything (darn), but I think I might have seen him wink and then tip his crown at me. It was a hot day though so my brain might have been fried. :-) We live on a golf course, so I hope the golfers didn't hear me.

Here's to shiny found pennies, itchy palms and my frog prince. (Not to mention the St. Joseph statue sitting in my kitchen window sill. And my crossed fingers and toes. And my prayers.) I think I've got all bases covered.
