It's Cinco De Mayo and I'm craving everything Mexican and lots of it. BUT....I'm doing the low carb thing, so I'll be good. But man oh man, I'm wanting it!
George and I rode our bikes 10 miles this morning and stopped at Starbucks along the way. Yum! I got a tall, sugar-free, de-caf, low-fat, extra hot, vanilla latte. Sooo good.
Feliz Cinco De Mayo!

I have only been to Starbucks one time and that was in Las Vegas about ten years ago. A bunch of us women who were in the group went shopping at the mall. We had never heard of Starbucks so we went in to taste the coffee. It was too strong for me so I have never gone back to one. The latte's sound good. I've tried a few homemade ones but I am sure that mine are in no way close to how good theirs are. I must try one sometime. I am glad that you had a wonderful morning.
It is 69 degrees here and we are spending the afternoon pulling weeds and transplanting hosta. We decided putting off buying flowers until we are ready to plant.
Have a great rest of the day!
Yummy! Happy Cinco De Mayo!
Happy Cinco De Mayo! I remember when I first realized what that was - about two years ago! I heard them talking about it on the Today Show, and had no idea what they were talking about. That weekend Lisa had gotten a ticket for me to go down to Tampa for Mother's Day. Lo and behold, she was talking about Cinco De Mayo too. I said, "WHAT is Cinco De Mayo??" Oh how we laughed when I realized it was Spanish for the 5th of May! And then she explained that it was an important date in Mexico, etc. I have no idea what rock I was hiding under all my life, but I just don't recall ever hearing that term before that!!
