It's a new year. Time to forget about all those goodies that were e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e during the holidays. But....I haven't forgotten. They "call" to me.
With the wedding just around the corner, I HAVE to be good. And being good goes against everything in me.
sigh!
I'd have some wine with my whine, but there's no such thing as a no-calorie wine! Hmmmm...someone needs to invent one. Quickly!
LOL you are so cute!! Try eating fruit when the urge to snack hits you. Maybe it'll help keep the extra away although looking at you, I can't imagine you worrying about your weight one bit...you're a doll!
I know the feeling well. Head over to the Sisterhood for a little inspiration. I'm sure you'll do fine though. You are one of the strongest people I know.
You will do just fine...M.O.B. is big motivation but you do have my sympathy...the goodies call my name all the time and I cannot resist. Must begin to try harder. I'm with you.
At least you're walking on the treadmill! That's WAY more than I'm doing. After our last wedding 4 years ago....I relaxed and stayed relaxed! Yikes! I feel your pain.
Maybe some low fat cheese w/ your "whine" would help! I know you'll do it and look lovely, as Mother of the Bride should (regardless of what Anon. thinks)... Hugs, ~K
Anon. needs to get a life!! The Mother of the Bride wants to look stunning when she walks down the isle and also when she stands up as the bride begins her walk down the isle. My husband and I also had to walk up to the front of the church and light our portion of the unity candle. As I told you in an earlier comment, my girls wanted me to look stunning and not "old fashioned and matronly". LOL!!! I wowed everybody in my beautiful dress and you will do the same! Don't worry, you will look beautiful. Love & blessings from NC!

You have a good reason to behave! No caftans for the mother of the bride.
Well I am trying to behave after a 6-mon hiatus from dieting. So I can empathize and sympathize with you.
IT AIN'T fAIR!
I am right there with you. Uggghhh - still only 2 pounds down. How can I gain 8 in like 10 days ...and yet it takes 100 to lost that amount!
I keep telling my growling stomach.."you are okay - you are not going to die just because you are empty!"

Kat you'll be fine...even if you gained 25 lbs. you'd still be the prettiest mother of the bride :)

Thanks Nancy and Ms. ~K. I guess anonymous just doesn't "get it". Sad.

I'm laughing at Sandi's comment, that's so true. Didn't we all eat too many sweets, me too! Happy New Year & here's to a blessed one! xoxo
