I had an eye appointment this afternoon....at 1PM. And here it is 6PM and my eyes are still so dilated. Crazy!
Blue eyes take soooooo much longer than brown eyes to calm down. Yikes. Scary! My eyes no longer look blue...just large black pupils.
(click to see how big my pupils still are)

One more...Jill at Jillian, Inc. is also having some good giveaways this week. Click here to visit her.

Especially light blue eyes. My oldest daughter has large pupils to begin with but when they are dilated it takes up to 24 hours to go back to normal. We didn't realize that her pupils were bigger than most until we got her fitted for contacts. She kept saying that things in her periphery vision were still blurry. I didn't know this but the prescription is only in the middle of the contact not the entire contact. Fortunately there was another brand of contacts that the eye doctor suggested that has a larger area of prescription in it. That made a big difference for her.
Fearfully and wonderfully made.
Smiles!
Yep, my eyes are light green and I hate having them dilated. All that light hurts and makes big tears.
It's wierd that a person can drive like that but can't see a lick up close.
Thanks for the giveaway mentions, I'm heading on over.
I hate having my eyes dilated, but mine are green so it probably isn't as bad for me as for you.
Your eyes are beautiful even when they're black, haha!
And your title is toooo funny!
This sista has blue eyes too and doesn't with a capital D like to have her eyes dilated either!!!!
You're a mess, Kat, and that's one of many reasons we love ya!! :)
My eyes are green and stay dilated a long time too. Actually, my eyes are always somewhat dilated. ?
Girl, I had no idea about the eye color thing. Mine are so brown id not have to worry about that. i need my eyes checked so bad and been putting it off like I do everything! Glad things worked out okay.
My eyes are DARK BROWN and they stay dilated forever. HOURS and hours later, they remain dilated. I wonder if it is the formula they put into the eyes, rather than the eye color. Just wondering......

I have an eye appt. next week and I also have blue eyes, so I'll be in the same boat as you. And thanks for the giveaway linky!
Seriously...blue eyes stay dialated longer??? I had never heard that, it might explain some things. We took our first cruise in Nov. and I had a bad reaction to the sea sick patch which included my eyes staying dialited for about 3 weeks---it was a nightmare!
ack! hope they're back to normal now!
