FEET IN THE SAND

Our weather has been so lousy lately. Rain. Cold. Rain. More Rain. Cold. Rain and cold. You get the picture. Not exactly what we're used to, even for January. I heard on the news the other day that this has been the coldest winter in 25 years. Brrrrrrr!

But today? Today was gorgeous!

It didn't start out that way. As a matter of fact, when I started tennis at 9am, it was overcast, damp feeling...and cold. But by our 2nd set, the sun came out and the sky was so blue.

My heart lifted.

I came home and went on a bike ride...so nice...and then headed for the beach. I just needed to put my feet in the sand. I needed the calmness that the beach gives me.

Awwwww...just look. Don't you feel better too?

Have you ever seen a sign like this? I haven't. I saw it on the beach road. It's new. Wonder what it means? Anybody know?

Maybe it means...

Keep your eye on the road

but, I think it means...

Stop....Just look at God's beautiful creation!

And I did!

Hugs from the beach!
Kat

I'm glad you were able to get out today. The beach was good for me too and I love the calmness of it. I've never seen that sign....what does it mean??? Did you find out?

It's supposed to rain here all week...we'll see if that happens. It's highly unlikely...

Have a good week!

I too loved your cheery beach pictures. It's been raining here all day. I think more rain is coming. Boo! I want the sun to come out on our beaches too.

No one could possibly remain grumpy for long with beaches like that! Simply gorgeous! No, I have never seen a road sign like that.

I think they forgot the ear on the sign to "Stop, Look, and Listen" with all that gorgeous view to take in!

How beautiful!!! I wish I was there right now! I am enjoying the gorgeous sprink like day in Tennessee but I would rather have my feet in the sand and listening to the ocean right now. :)

We are supposed to get rain the next 2 days so I better get outside and enjoy the sun and the warmth while I can.

Enjoy your day!
Love & Hugs,
Patty

Those are beautiful photos Kat.
Now about that sign, never seen one like that before either. Maybe it's to warn you to be alert as you continue forward?

It was beautiful here today too and I'm telling you, I felt like a different person. The first words out of my mouth when I walked outside were, "Thank You Lord for this beautiful day!"
