Our dentist has been our friend for almost 15 years. It's worth trips to Nashville for him to remain our dentist. We both love him, his wife and their two great teenage beautiful daughters. Tonight we met them all for dinner and ended up going back to their house to play card games. One of the girls baked yummy chocolate chip cookies for us to munch on while we played. We had so much fun.
But...tomorrow morning...now that's different. George is just getting his teeth cleaned. But me....

Hugs and kisses,
Kat

Will be sure and say a prayer. I have spent half my life in a dental chair...
Good luck - I would rather see my dentist socially too!
I'm confused though - I thought you were in Nashville?
Here's my prayer for you sweet Kat! Hope you get through the day with ease and gumption! No pain for our dear Kat!
hugs

Prayers for you as you have your dental work done. That is awesome that you are such great friends with your dentist. Now we know why you travel all the way back to Nashville to see him. I am personal friends with my eye doctors. They are a husband/wife team. She is one of my Bible study leaders too! Will have you in my thoughts and prayers today. Love & blessings from NC!
Definitely will be praying!
That's so funny...our dentist's parents were best friends with my aunt and uncle so I've known him my entire life (he's a little bit older than I am). Nevertheless, his children and mine went to school together and for a time we all attended the same church. I think that he and his wife (also a dentist are great folks...just NOT when I'm in their office.
Good luck!
If you read my 10 things post you'll see how I feel about dentists! :)
I hope things go well for you today in the dentist chair. Having our teeth worked on is never fun!

*ugh* I know how you feel. What are you having done? I'm off to the dentist myself today (what a great thing to do on "vacation", huh???) in preparation for 6 veneers on my front teeth.
I an totally relate to this---but it's the oral surgeon I have to go see. Not looking forward to it! Hope all goes well for you, my sweet friend!
I feel your pain!
Glad to be back....Hope the dental appointment went well....JR
