The Birthday Girl! Isn't she pretty? She doesn't look 40!It's sure good to be home. I love taking trips, but there truly is "no place like home".
Church was wonderful this morning. I'm so glad we didn't sleep in like I wanted to. After church, I made us some yummy BLTs and then spent the whole afternoon getting caught up (almost) on the laundry and my blog reading. Tonight we attended a party at our favorite mexican restaurant for our misister's wife, Cindy, who turned 40 today. It was lots of fun. We are so blessed with our church family.

Glad you had a great church service. Doesn't that happen frequently - you really don't feel like going but you receive a blessing once you've been there.

Cindy is beautiful! I went to church early on Sunday. I was griping at my husband who likes to go to 7:00 a.m. mass. I want to go on Saturday evening. No compromise, either. However, I heard the best sermon and I was so glad I went!
So glad you're home. I know Miss Daisy missed you. The best thing about coming home was always sleeping in my own bed with my own pillows...
