I've waited for this day. ABC today has been covered with the story and return of Bob Woodruff, anchor of ABC World New Tonight, who was critically injured 13 months ago in Iraq. He was always one of my favorites to watch, but watching his wife and children as they have dealt with his injury and slow recovery has been awe inspring. This morning on Good Morning America it was incredible seeing him back again and seeing video of his wife, children and their journey of recovery. Amazing. I made sure I was home in time to watch him again on Oprah this afternoon. And then tonight, we were glued to the TV watching the ABC evening special. An amazing story. Welcome back Bob! God is good.

I've not watched him much, but did hear and read about his story. What a miracle!
I saw the special last night about him and was very intrigued myself. My brother-in-law had a nephew that was killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq last October, so seeing that anyone can have that happen and make the recovery Bob has made is amazing. It was also sad to see the guys that hadn't made such progress though. It is all a definite eye-opener and I hope Bob uses this platform to draw attention to get the help these families need.
Bob is already using what happened to him to bring attention to the need for improvement in health care for our veterans and I truly feel that will be his calling.
