Oh my goodness! Today was absolutely awesome! It really felt like an early Spring day....unbelievable in February. I played tennis and kept thinking just how wonderful it was to be outside, playing a game I love with good friends. I even put the top down on my convertible...in February! (Cheryl and Jean, I'm not rubbing it in. Honestly. I know you're dealing with such cold temps now. Sorry. Wish you were here.) After lunch, I just had to get back outside again. I took a ride in the golf cart just to be outside a little longer. It feels like Spring is just around the corner. Everything looks so green and the birds were singing like crazy. Sure hope Mother Nature doesn't send us any freezes. I don't know what tomorrow will be like, but I sure enjoyed today. Thank you God for this day!
When I got back to the house, I made up for my day of "play" and got busy on working more in the garage. It's taking awhile to get things organized now that we're moving things from the storage unit to here in the garage. I'm literally going through every box to decide what to keep and what needs to be donated or given away. I made a pretty good dent in things this afternoon. It's amazing how much "stuff" we hang on to.

I tried to comment yesterday, but I don't think the comment feature was working at that moment. Anyway, several times today I thought of this picture of you in your convertible, and I longed for Spring in PA.
Yesterday I mentioned that I watched Oprah when I was on the treadmill, and she had an organization guru helping someone get organized. When it came to their garage, he set EVERYTHING that was in it outside. They had to decide what they absolutely needed, and only those things went back in.
Actually, that's pretty much what we did two years ago. We downsized big time. Unloading a lot of stuff was an awesome feeling.
Hey after reading Cheryl's blog this morning, I felt even worse about my post about our wonderful weather lately. I honestly thought of you girls and felt a teeny bit bad that you're dealing with the yucky weather while ours has been so awesome.
I didn't see the Oprah show. Wish I had. I'll be working on the garage again this afternoon. Uggghh!!!!

Please don't feel badly. You didn't offend either of us. We are not offended easily. We do a lot of teasing and having fun. We loved seeing you in your convertible and having a great day. Please don't stop putting up the pictures. We love to see you but we may tease you too. LOL!
Yelp, I agree with Cheryl. Please don't stop putting pictures of your lovely days on your blog. We have to have something to brighten our days!! Don't we sound pathetic?!! Really, we're not. We're quite easily brightened.
We've owned a place here in "Paradise" for 15 years, but have only lived here permanently for 5. We don't take a minute for granted. We love living here. We still get excited over the weather, the beach, the color of the water, seeing dolphin, our lifestyle, etc. Life is just so good!
