DORIS DAY I'M NOT
I don't watch much TV at all, but I do channel surf when I walk on the treadmill. Tonight I found a real treasure...one of my favorites. Doris Day and Cary Grant in A Touch of Mink, a very sweet romantic comedy. It brought back such wonderful memories. As far back as I can remember, I loved Doris Day. I thought she was "IT". I loved her spunky personality and the sound of her voice. I loved the way she dressed. She had such a cute shape, so she looked good in everything she wore. When I was just a little girl I played with my Barbie dolls or my paper dolls and I was always Doris Day in my head. So I really had to chuckle tonight when I saw her in this movie. I thought "Damn, I even chose a hairstyle like Doris without even thinking about it." Too funny! But, Doris Day I'm not...not even close.

It's girlfriends like you who know how to make my day. What a compliment! I promise I wasn't looking for that. It just made me chuckle to even think I styled my hair like that and didn't even think about Doris.

I agree with precious...you do look much better than Doris Day! Very similar though...could be sisters! Can you believe that I've never seen a Doris Day movie?! I guess I'm missing out!
