"CELEBRATING" MENOPAUSE

After the show, the cast invited members of the audience to come up on stage. Several from our group went up and danced.
15 (out of 18) went to dinner before the show. The others met us at the theatre. I took a pic of this poster. Why? Because it was taped on the tampon machine in the ladies room. A poster about menopause on a tampon machine...too funny! (somehow, I cut off the actual knobs, etc. on the machine, but you get the idea)

Oh My Goodness! We had a ball! 18 of us! Mom, "Other Mother" and I joined Sherry and 14 of her friends (all teachers) for a fun night of dinner and then Menopause The Musical. I'm so glad we were able to go before it closes in Atlanta on the 25th. It's opening in Birmingham on the 28th. I just might get up a group to go see it there. What a fun thing to do with your girlfriends. (Note...from the picture...there were some men there too?)

When we got back to Sherry's house, we ate slices of warm chocolate pie with vanilla ice cream that she made earlier this morning. We also played Phase 10 until we weren't able to keep our eyes open any longer. Off to bed.
