JULY HAS MADE A LIAR OUT OF ME

July has always been my least favorite month living on the beach. It's usually HOT...really HOT. And there's a good chance of seaweed. The water usually isn't the best.  And it's crowded...the roads, the restaurants, the beach.

But this year....July has made me eat my words!

Oh.my.word! Can you say beautiful?!

George and I keep saying to each other "Can you believe this?!"

Here's just a few photos (in no particular order) that I've taken on "our" beach in the last day or so.

This is EXACTLY why I love being JUSTABEACHKAT!

The Emerald Coast indeed!

We saw several of these beautiful blue herons on our walk down to the jetty tonight.

Have I told you lately how much I love living on the beach?!

I do!

Hugs from the beach,
Kat

Sounds like you're falling in love with your condo all over again. Love the beach pictures. There were about 4 huge blue herons at my condo last week. Oh boy were they tall!! They were almost able to look into the windows of the SUVS. They weren't even afraid of us. Then they disappeared. Shortly thereafter, I saw a new gator in the retention pond. Must be why they left. Is that a pirate ship in 2 of those pictures? Perhaps making its way down here to Tampa Bay??

So beautiful. It's relaxing just to look at. I can only imagine what it's like to live there.

It makes me happy just to read about how happy you are, there at the beach. So many people forget to be happy... We stayed at the WaterColor Inn a few years ago. I feel like I'm looking out our balcony when I see your pictures! Much continued happiness to you. ~Zuni
