There's lots of perks to blogging, don't you agree? But a big one for me has been the friends I have made through blogging. People I would never have met otherwise.
I've been lucky enough to meet quite a few and I can truthfully say that I have never been disappointed. Every blogger I have met has been exactly how she has presented herself through her writing.
I was thrilled to meet another blog friend a few days ago. It's someone I have wanted to meet for quite sometime. She was vacationing two hours away, but took the time to meet me half way so we could have lunch together.
Teresa at Grammy Girlfriend and A Baby Changes Everything was exactly what I expected...and even more. Prettier, sweeter and so easy to talk to. Although the day we met for lunch was UGLY....lots of rain and wind (welcome to the Sunshine State)...it didn't stop us from having a good time. We talked and talked and talked some more. We did a little shopping. We needed more time ;-( Our visit went by much too quickly.
I can't believe neither one of us pulled out our camera! We were too busy talking, but still..... Grrrrr
Love you sweet Teresa!

Hugs from the beach,
Kat

That's so cool that you got to meet Teresa. I think it's almost five years ago that you, Tonja, and I met up in Pensacola. Where does the time go??? That is such a precious memory to me.
I also just read about Sherry's break-in. I cannot imagine dealing with that. I had my car vandalized three times in three months, in the same Lancaster parking lot, and that felt horrible enough. I just think knowing someone was in my house, has my computer, etc would be so much more personal. Bless her dear heart. I so hope and pray that the person is caught and her things returned to her.
Oh, how great!!! I know you are sad you took no pictures!!!
Sorry Sally (http://whispering-hope.blogspot.com/). I accidentally rejected your comment instead of publishing. Darn small iPhone keys in the bright sun :-)
Sally's comment: So happy for both of you! It's always nice to meet someone after you've gotten to "know" them through blogging, and to have that person be exactly as you imagined!
((hugs))
That's wonderful Kat!! I sure hope to get to meet you in "real life" someday!! So jealous that my sister June gets to meet you this week!! Enjoy your week!!

love you...Our meeting was the most special part of our trip.....
Oh how fun! And how lucky for her that she got to visit that beautiful area too! Your photos make me sigh--the beach is so relaxing and beautiful. I am always sad when I leave the beach.
