Gosh, I can't seem to get back my blogging "groove". All during the move and getting settled, I couldn't wait to get back to blogging. Two problems have stymied my plan. First, we seem to stay so darn busy and second, our internet is so blankety-blank sloooow. George is calling tomorrow to have someone come check things out. I sit down to blog sometimes and I get so frustrated that I walk away. Tonight it seems to be cooperating, so I thought I'd share some photos of what's been happening lately.
George went to Coopertown, NY to watch our grandson, Carson, play in a tournament. That our son George on the left who coaches Carson's team. George was gone 9 days...the longest we've been apart since we married.
One night a few of my neighbors dropped by for drinks. The photos was taken with an iPad and turned out blurry, but hey we got a photo.
Another night, I had dinner with my sweet Facebook friend June and her daughter Allison and her husband Bill and they came back to our condo. (Bill took the photo) June is the sister of my sweet blog friend, Joan at Joan's Journeys. I hope Joan will come next time.
We've had a little rain almost every afternoon, but it's still been a gorgeous July. Plenty of sun. I personally love watching a storm form over the water.
Miss Daisy loves being on the balcony!
George and I enjoy taking walks down to the jetties. The water has been such a gorgeous color.
So excited! We're heading to Nashville on Thursday to spend some time with these three and our son and daughter-in-love!!!!!!
Missing this little man! Looking forward to seeing him in just a few weeks. He's almost 10 months old now and beginning to be on the move. Just look at those eyes!
Proud of myself for keeping up my exercise even though life is so busy. This is my gym in a box. LOL I keep my weights, etc. in a box under the guest room bed. Every day I turn on the TV, roll out my mat, turn on the over head fan and get to work. George and I are also taking long walks on the beach and/or taking a long walk with Miss Daisy after dinner. Feeling good.
Now....your turn.
What have you been up to?
