MAKING BAD CHOICES

Confession is good for the soul, right?

Well, I must confess that I have been making tooooo many bad choices lately by....

not making time for the treadmill
enjoying way too many McDonald caramel frappes (to die for!)
having that extra glass of wine
ordering fries instead of a salad
etc.
etc.
etc.
I could go on and on, but why make myself more depressed and bore you ;-)

I'm not liking my scale right now, but he (oh, it's a he, for sure!) keeps me honest.

I'm not making excuses (?), but wearing sundresses all day/every day sure keeps me cool and comfy, BUT... with no waistband, it's easy to not notice a few pounds creep up and stick around.  grrrrrrr!

All good things must come to an end and today is THE day for change!!!

Back to the treadmill for me.  And back to using myfitnesspal.com   Doing these two things is what works for me!

Are you making good choices?

Hugs from the beach,
Kat

good grief, I was just thinking the same thing, that I needed to get started again. Now I am here and hearing the same thing. Think it is God whispering?

I have been using myfitnesspal for about 6 weeks now. And walking or hiking with our dog every day. Need to keep it up. It was so easy to put on this weight but so slow to get it off!

Good luck!

I put 5 lbs. back on over the last couple of months. 5 lbs. may not seem like much to some (although to a 5'2" 60-y.o., 5 lbs. is a lot!!), but I know if I don't do something, it'll soon be 10 or 15 lbs. So on Wednesday, I started WW online. 2 of the 5 lbs. gone! yay!

You can do it, Kat!

You BETCHA that scale is a HE, and I feel like its saying HEE HEE HEE everytime I get on....:( But guess what it's summer and I don't care !!! (kinda)

I don't have a real weight problem and feel for those that do, but I can stand to loose a few who at a certain age doesn't, and I definitely need to exercise more.....as a matter of fact I just did my YOGA tape.

Enjoy those frappes Kat life's too short :) You bike and play tennis I think you take good care of yourself so give yourself permission :)

Have a wonderful day.....

Kathy :)

Takes so long to lose it and comes back so easily! I want to read all about myfitnesspal hopefully that will help. The worst advice I ever received years ago by someone is to get rid of your weight scale and I listened. What was I thinking? You can be sure I weigh myself regularly now!

I know what you mean. It is so easy to let 5 lbs. sneak on during the summer months. I am loving all those summer veggies! Plus, I LOVE sweets! I have lost 13 pounds since Christmas and I want to keep it off. My life is so crazy/busy lately that I guess I just burned it off. Hang in there with your exercise program, but you look wonderful, Kat!!! Love & blessings from NC!
