ENJOYING SUNSET

Gosh it is HOT HOT HOT here in the sunshine state!  So hot that all of us tennis girls have decided to cut our playing time down to only an hour and a half instead of two.  Works for me!

You know Miss Daisy has to have her golf cart ride and she doesn't care how hot it is.  We are enjoying making it later so it's a tiny bit cooler AND we get to find different spots to watch the sunset.

Last night, we watched it over by the marina....so peaceful.

Hugs from the beach,
Kat

Kat, you aren't joking when you said it's hot!! Wow, almost 30 years here, and I can't remember an early June being so hot and humid, and we've had no rain in well over a month - we are desperate.

Your pictures are really beautiful, looking at them, is so peaceful...

Hi sweet friend!
sorry you are roasting and toasting..
thankfully our heat cools down in the evening..we do NOT run air conditioning at all..indoors stays nice and cool because i open the doors and windows early and turn on the attic fan thingy (here they call such a contraption a "swamp cooler')..
later turn it off.. and close the drapes on the sunny side of the house..stays comfy all day..
your evening pics at the marina are delicious!!! here's toasting you guys as well as the sunset!!
warmest hugs..

Gosh Kat I sure hope you're staying in a golf cart community! Miss Daisy would be so lost without her golf cart rides! Gotta keep those four legged family member happy!

Beautiful pictures. Have you heard from the potential buyers yet? I'm saying prayers that they will buy.

That does look so peaceful. I'm so eager to hear what's happening with your house!

I hope by now you have heard some good news from the house people. I know that would make you happy. It is so hot here...103 today! Unbearable. I can't even stand to go out to buy groceries. It's too hot from the store to the car! That's pitiful, isn't it?

Stay cool! Sending prayers and good wishes!

I agree with the weather being extremely hot. I remember in years past when Springbreak could be down right chilly and June was the best month to be down in the Destin area (the heat wasn't overbearing until July/August.

I don't know what happened to my Apple. It happened after a "soft ware" update which makes me wonder...

Do tell, which Marina is this?

Yeah I think that might be more than a tiny bit later, but very beautiful. Sunsets are quite late now with Daylight Saving Time. I am nearly ready for bed. But then I'm getting old.

Beautiful pictures! Love sunsets at the beach. Our weather was cooler this past week, but now the heat has set in this weekend. We stayed at the pool all afternoon to keep cool. Happy Father's Day to George on Sunday! Love & blessings from NC!
