And now that I'm up, I'm feeling the aches from all our bike riding this weekend. We got in about 36 miles, but my body would argue and tell you it was 50. That's because yesterday the wind coming off the bay made it REALLY REALLY hard to pedal. It didn't matter which way we turned, it seemed the wind was always in our face. Pedaling into the wind is HARD.
Okay..enough venting this morning.... I'm up now and I'm gonna make it a good day. (Do you hear that muscles?) I've got tennis in about an hour (if the rain holds off), so maybe that will loosen me up again.
Happy Monday!
Hugs and kisses,
Kat
(edited to add: No tennis! Double Yuck! I got dressed and drove to the tennis courts, but the rain started before we could open the can of balls. It's a dark and very dreary rainy gloomy awful Monday here in the Sunshine State. I WILL NOT let it get the best of me though. I'm heading to the gym. AND...maybe an afternoon nap will work it's way into my plans today. Smiling big!)

Happy Monday! I am having the same feelings right now! However, my dog is licking my toes, so that does make it an A+ day in my book!
I need to ride 36 miles myself! The bunny bought me a six pack of the large Reese's peanut butter eggs. I ate five of them!!! Headed back from PA this morning but back to the weights and the treadmill tomorrow!!! have a great tennis match!
Happy Monday to you!!!!
It is our last day of break so we are just taking it easy today. We are all beack to reality tomorrow....ughhhhh!
Oh my! I'm impressed with that bike ride!!!
Stopping by to say "hi"...it's been a while. I'm better at keeping up with ya on Facebook! Love the new blog look!
I got up at 4 AM this morning because I was tired laying in bed. Ha! Ha! I can only lay for about 5 or 6 hours, then I have to get up and sit in a chair. I can't say that I have much energy today but I am improving and heading in the right direction now.
The past two days, I have not seen a doctor and that feels so good, however, I do have an appointment tonight at 7 PM, but I may not have to go.
I would like to be riding over the bridge with you and pushing against the wind. Sounds more fun than pushing my rocking chair. =)
Thank you so much for your prayers and comments. It meant so much to me.
Hugs,
Cheryl
Hi Kat, I wouldn't possibly be able to move this morning after all that bike riding! LOL! But I bet it was a nice get-away! Love your new background! ~hugs, Rhonda :)
Happy Monday. Easter Sunday was a beautiful day but it's kind of overcast here today. Temps are supposed to be in the high 80's by the end of the week so I should enjoy the coolness. I'm back on the program today so back to eating right. I want to knock off another 12 pounds or more before summer.
Hugs, Susan
Sorry you are getting rain again. It is coming our way today too, but it just hasn't started yet. We are supposed to get rain through Wednesday. At least we had a beautiful day on Easter!! Sounds like you and George got in some great bike riding on Sunday. Way to go!!! Have a great week.
Love & blessings from NC!
Oh, I need to exercise today!!!
welcome to the sisterhood! :) i wish i enjoyed exercise so much that i was disappointed when i couldn't!
Love the bunny in the fridge!
Hi, Kat, happy Monday after Easter! I'm dragging a bit today too, but made it to the gym. Hope you have a good week. And don't worry about being behind, I am feeling that way all the time now. Just not enough time to catch up with everyone.
You have such a wonderful attitude. Could you give me attitude lessons? I've just about had it here with the weather. It's cold, windy and rainy and supposed to be the same way tomorrow. No wonder my grandbabies are sick.
Hi Kat...36 miles!! I wouldn't be able to move today after all that. I also woke up to the alarm at 7am and didn't want to get up. I got in a short walk with my friend, Vickie. It felt good. Made reservations to see Ms. Bella in a month. I can't wait. The weatherman keeps telling us it's gonna rain..but it DOESN'T and we need it! Have a good week...Connie
Monday's are always hard!!! But then so is Tuesday-Friday!
Awww the marvelous mondays--ha NOT! maybe you will have a "brighter" day tomorrow!
I AM REALLY NOT FEELING SORRY FOR YOU...HEHEHE YOU LIVE ON THE BEACH AND HAVE MOSTLY WONDERFUL WEATHER AND I HAVE NO PLACE TO RIDE AND I AM GETTING FATTER AND FATTER. THE WIND HAS BEEN BLOWING HERE SINCE OCT AND YOU COULDN'T RIDE IF WE HAD A PLACE. SO I JUST KEEP FEEDING MY BABY GOATS AND LONGING FOR THE DAYS I LIVED ON THE BEACH. how is this for a sad Tuesday!
HAVE A gREAT DAY. I AM HEADED TO COLLEGE STATION FOR DOG FOOD...WHAT ELSE.
lOVE,
BARBARA
How about we say that you rode 30 miles and I did six? I'd feel SO much better then!!! hahahaha
The weather has been miserable here since yesterday~missed the tornadoe's though so that's a blessing! It's still raining; with a little thunder thrown in.
Catching up with all of my buddies today! Glad you had a beautiful Easter. Today (late this afternoon) is the day we find out if the chemotherapy is working ...I am nervous as a cat!
Kat,
I just wanted to take the time to say thank you.
I really appreciate your kind words and prayers. They are helping more than you will ever know.
Much love.
Melissa
I hope you are feeling better today! I'm so impressed with your bike riding! I hope the sun has come out today! It's rainy up here in Michigan! I hope your Easter was okay with just the two of you!
Much love,
Angie xoxo
Don't worry about visiting, I'm crazy busy right now too. Thanks for signing up as a follower, I just signed up as a follower for your blog too. Can't believe I haven't done it before now! ♥
I'm trying to imagine cycling 36 miles. And it's not happening.
:-)
I do the same thing - on weekends, when I could sleep as long as I'd like, I always, without fail, wake up early. Monday through Friday, I think I'd sleep until noon if the alarm clock didn't go off at 6.
I love that graphic...lol
Hi Kat,
Hope your Tuesday was better. Is there something that tells you how many miles that you ride on your bike? You can tell I know alot about bikes. LOL I was going to rent a bike when we go to Hilton Head next week because it's a great place to ride bikes but also wanted to know how far I went. Anyway, just wondering! I'm not sure I could do 36 miles though...
Thoughts of an afternoon nap have been known to motivate me. I LOVE a little snooze during the middle of the day.
Oh my! If I had done 36 miles on my bike, I think I would have been REALLY glad for a rainy, dreary day so I would have an excuse for being a big fat slug the next day...
