I'LL BE BACK SOON

I hate to do this...I r-e-a-l-l-y hate to do this...but I need to take a little break from blogging. Every once in awhile I look up from my computer and see LOTS of "stuff" that needs my attention and yet I keep putting it off. Just so I can blog. You understand, I'm quite sure.

Sooooo....I'm going to be a good little girl and get to work. Plus, my Mom and Aunt are coming on Monday afternoon. Oh, and I was notified that three different groups of ladies will be visiting my yard on Tuesday at three different times to look things over for the Garden Club landscape award thingee. ??? I'm not holding my breath to win or anything...that's for sure. But I do want to spiffy things up a bit. Speaking of my yard, the photo above is one of my "knockout" roses that I took tonight. The color is so yummy. (The photo is clickable.)

Anyway, that's why I'm taking a little break, but I'll be back soon. Knowing me, and I do, I'll probably sneak in a few visits between chores. LOL
~~~~~~
Oh....I got the haircut. The jury is still out on whether I like it or not. I never can tell until I "mess" with it myself. We'll see after I wash it and style it myself tomorrow morning before church.
I can't believe I'm showing this, but I promised I would. Here's a really bad photo I took myself...in the car. It's hard to take a photo of yourself I learned. And look at that crazy expression?! I'm feeling self conscious taking a photo of myself and at the last second I was thinking "do I smile or not?". It looks like a cross between smiling and not smiling. LOL And why, oh why, didn't I put on fresh lipstick? Oh well.....
~~~~~~

Here I sit (again) when I have lots of "stuff " to do....so

ta ta for now....

Hugs and kisses,
Kat

I totally understand the need to get things done and spending time blogging instead. I do it way to often. Now, the haircut. I absolutely love it! Do you mind if I copy you? I've been looking for a new do. It is way cute. Don't change a thing. I'll be here when you get back.

I understand the blogging break. Besides you have a lot going on! I know what you mean about the hair - I always have to fuss with mine on my own to know how I like it too. I think it looks good though!
See you when we see you!

My Knock-outs are blooming too...and speaking of "knock-outs", I love the haircut!
I wish I had the courage to go short again, but I would miss the ease of the ponytail, especially this time of year...
I respect/admire your "NO BLOGGING" decision...I need to take lessons from you!!!
Will miss you and will keep checking in on you!

You're so funny Kat!
I've argued with myself in the midst of photo taking too! LOL

Enjoy getting stuff done. I've been off line for a week now, taking care of mom after her back surgery. I've so enjoyed being on line most of today! You can look forward to visiting everyone and blogging after you feel you've made progress!

You crack me up! Wish I could have seen you taking that picture. And I love the hair, and your lipstick looks just fine to me.

Get a lot done now, and have fun with your mom and Sherry. I will miss you.

You, my friend, are a knockout!
I took your photo to my hair girl too... I told her to leave enough for a french twist on a bad hair day. Your's looks great!
Mine looks just like it used to.
Enjoy your bloggy break~

I think you will like your haircut. You will be able to work with it and like it a lot better after that. (I think it looks cute - as is!)

I hope you get recognition for your YARD since you put a lot of effort into it and don't just hire it done. (We hire ours done.)

You take the BREAK that you need and then maybe I will do the same. Several bloggers I check on are taking a break for the meantime, so it must be "the season" to do that. :)

I'll be watching for your return!

I love the new haircut!! You crack me up. Thanks for being real on here, Kat! You are so open and honest! I can just imagine taking a picture of myself and wouldn't know if I should smile or not. You made me laugh at the thought. :)
I loved the flowers, too!
We'll miss you!
Love,
Angie xoxo

I totally understand and need to be taking a break right now myself. I adore the new haircut! When I take a photo to a hairdresser, I always come away wondering if she actually looked at it. Your hairdresser got it spot on! She's a keeper. Enjoy your blog break and your company and hope your yard wins an award. ♥

Sounds like you have lots to accomplish on your blogging break. Have a nice time away - we'll be here when you get back. =)

Your hair looks fantastic! I love it!!!

I agree with you about the break. It's a shame to waste even a moment of Spring in front of the computer...so why am I here??? Run-run-run out doors and enjoy your blessings. Hug your Mom and Aunt twice for us!! Spend some extra time reminising about family weddings for Bree.

Hi Kat,

Your hair looks great! Totally understand the need to take a break. I want to do so many things around my yard and house and there never seems to be enough time, I just always feel so bad about not getting to visit everyone. Have a great break and visit with your family.

Love your new haircut. It looks so good!!! I totally understand the need to take a break. During my break this past week, due to our computer being in the shop, I couldn't believe how much I got done. It was a wakeup call as to how much time I spend on the computer. LOL! Tonight it is almost 1:30am and I am still up reading blogs. I need to get to bed. Have a wonderful week with your company! I will be here when you get back. Love & blessings from NC!

I thought I had commented on your hair but maybe not....so here goes: it looks great! I have been enjoying my blogging break but this week I've kinda gone back to the everyday thing.

David and I are going on a little romantic getaway Friday for 3 days since I was at the lake last weekend and left him all alone. Not sure where we'll go but it will include some antiquing (for me) and casino's (can we say Biloxi?) for him. We love staying at the Beau Rivage and I can always entertain myself shopping during the day.

Have fun with your mom and see ya when you get back.

Hi Kat, I can identify with the need for a blog break every once and while! My blogging has been so erratic lately, with my busy schedule.

I love your new haircut! It looks fresh, cool, and hip! :) And good luck on the Garden Club Award. Your pool area look amazing! You've given me some good ideas. We had a leak in ours at the lights (deepest end), and it looks terrible! ...green and nasty at the moment. It is so hard to get someone to work on them.

Don't work too hard on your break! :) ~hugs, Rhonda
