TUESDAY FUN

If you know me at all, you know I always take my camera e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e. I love photos. I love having photos to remind me of where I've been and what I've done. I just wish I could do more with photos than crop...although I do LOVE that feature. The older I get, the more I want to crop. LOL And the older I get, the more things I want to be able to remove from a photo.

~~~~~~
Brrrrr....it's chilly here today. It's gorgeous though. The Tuesday Lunch Bunch met at The Tommy Bahama Cafe. I think there was 13 of us today. Yummy, but expensive. I can't believe I didn't take a photo! My camera was in my purse so I have no excuse.
~~~~~~
A friend of mine (another breast cancer survivor) e-mailed this to me this morning:

THE ARTFULL BRAS PROJECT
Members of Quilters of South Carolina have created one-of-a-kind bras for Breast Cancer Awareness. The exhibit consists of fifty original works of art which are unique, entertaining, humorous, and beautiful to make the public aware of breast cancer, to memorialize those lost to the disease, and to honor survivors.

This exhibit will tour SC until Oct '09 at which time individual Artfull Bras will be auctioned and the proceeds donated to the Best Chance Network, a program to provide care and treatment of uninsured women across the state who are diagnosed with breast and cervical cancer.

Here's just a few of them. Very creative and I love the names too. If you'd like to see more, click here.

" BRA FROM HELL"
" MONKEY BUSINESS"
" STILL IN BLOOM"
" LOOK AT THEM MELONS"
"FOR THOSE WHO SERVED"
~~~~~~
Life has been crazy busy lately and I've missed my blog reading. I'm hoping to get to visit some of your blogs today.
I had seen these bras somewhere else and aren't they amazing? Such creative folks! Things are crazy/busy here too. No kids at home and I am still so busy. I guess it makes life interesting!! I have so many posts that I want to do and I just can't settle down to concentrate to get them all done. One of these days. As a cancer survivor, I live each day to the fullest, as I'm sure you do too.(And I feel so blessed to be alive!!!) I'm off to Bible study with my gal friends! Have a great day.
Love & blessings from NC!
Those are cute!! I love the "bloom" one.
I have always wanted to ask you - you always have such cute cartoons/drawings on your posts - where do you find them? They are all so appropriate and hilarious. It seems like finding the perfect one would be a time consuming activity, so I just wondered if you have a secret you would share!
Have a great day!
