NEW YORK, HERE WE COME

Guess what I'm humming (I can't sing!)? Yep, you got it!

NEW YORK, NEW YORK

Start spreading the news

I'm leaving today

I want to be a part of it,

New York, New York

These vagabond shoes

Are longing to stray

And make a brand new start of it

New York, New York

I want to wake up in the city that never sleeps

To find I'm king of the hill,

top of the heap

These little town blues

Are melting away

I'll make a brand new start of it

In old New York

If I can make it there

I'll make it anywhere

It's up to you,

New York, New York

Our bags are packed and we're ready to go. We fly out in the morning. We're so excited. Our daughter, Bree, and her boyfriend, Jay, are going with us. George has so much planned for us, including two Broadway shows (Jersey Boys and Chicago) and Radio City Christmas Spectacular (it's their 75th anniversary this year). We've seen the Rockette's many times, but this year should be extra special.

Hope I can sleep tonight.

Have a wonderful week and I'll catch up with you all when I return.

Christmas hugs!

I know you will have the best of times! What a time to be in NY...we were there a few Thanksgiving's ago (poor Grammar I know) and it was so festive. I loved looking in all the shop window displays...so Christmasy!!

Have fun...

That sounds like such a good time!! You're not going to the Today Show? Maybe I could see you if you did. Of course, I only get to watch about the first 15 minutes, so you'd have to be there before 7 AM, ha, ha! Doesn't sound too appealing, does it?

Oh well, just wave when pass over top of PA!

New York is on my list of places to visit some day. I would love to go to a Broadway show and stroll down 5th Ave. It all sounds so delightfully romantic! Now to just convince my "there are too many people on the East Coast" husband to take me there. :-)

I'll live vicariously through you! Enjoy your trip!

Oh Kat, have a grand time! We saw Jersey Boys in NYC last year...just before they won the Tony for Best Musical. It's the music I grew up with and I loved the show.

Take lots of pictures!

Hope you're having a wonderful time. Received your Christmas card today and wanted to say thank you. I can't wait to hear of your trip. I know you'll need a day or two to unwind once you return, but after that....well, let's just say I'll be chomping at the bit to hear every little detail! Especially any and all resturant details. (What can I say? I love to hear about food. It's a curse these days. lol)
