JUST LIKE DOROTHY...I WANT TO BE HOME

In the hustle and bustle of this season, it seems like I'm always on the road. Running here and running there. My list of things to do and things to pick up are endless. I want to click my heels and say "There's no place like home, there's no place like home". I just want to stay home and enjoy my decorations, snuggle up with a good book and Miss Daisy by my side and sip a hot cup of latte.

I don't think it's gonna happen anytime soon though. Our trip to New York is sneaking up on me and I've lots to do. I still have shopping to do, gifts to wrap, parties to attend, not to mention packing, etc. Sigh!

Hugs!

At least you have a finished house to come back to after all your gadding about! I forget when and with whom you're going to New York. I'll soon find out, I guess!

I have been keeping up with your blog, so I know how busy you've been! Thanks for stopping by!
I know what you mean, I try to get so much done before december, so I can be home more and enjoy my home and all the decorations!Though this year I am still decorating!
Are you going to NYC? Hubby and I are going on the 14th! I can't wait, I've never been during the christmas season!

Oh, I know what you mean. Thursday is the first day I have home with no where I HAVE to be but it's jammed backed full or finishing orders before the holidays.

I hope you are able to enjoy at least one day at home with nothing to do but sitting with Miss Daisy and sippin on your latte before your trip to NY.

Have an outstanding day!!

Blessings,
Sandy

You may be awfully busy, but you are surrounded by those you love and who love you. The Christmas ornament banner is lovely.

I completely understand! It seems we do so much work to put up decorations and then we run...run...run during the entire holiday season! I love sitting by the fire, looking at the twinkling lights of the tree and listening to some good Christmas music. Hmmm...sounds like a plan for tonight!

I just LOVE New York during the holidays! We've been several times and that's the only time of year we go! So, WHEN are you leaving??? I can't wait to see your pictures and I know Barbie and Ken will have a great time too!

Love ya!

Stress and holidays. They sort of go hand and hand. So don't let it stress you out. Someone said that no matter what gifts you buy, what decorations go up, what party you attend, our Savior will still be born. Take it slow, Kat and enjoy the Holy season.

Love,
Julie

I have yet to get out my Christmas decorations. I am doing almost all of my shopping on the Internet this year. I am too busy running around doing other things this year - things I would rather do than decorate and shop, I'm afraid.

I hear you! It's 'flat tack' (full on) here too. New York trip sounds like it will be great. Hope you get through everything smoothly.

I wanted to take a moment and say hi and tell you how much I love reading your blog. This is my first time to post. I am a cancer survivor going on 5 years now. I didn't have breast cancer but a rare form of cancer in my leg. I praise God for healing me. I hope you have a great time on your trip and hopefully you will get to spend time relaxing at home! I love doing that myself. :o)

Blessings,
Patty

Somehow it gets all done in time. I've only been to NYC while passing through on my way to somewhere else. One of these days I'm going to get there and I think Christmas would be such a lovely time to visit.

I agree...there's no place like home! But then...there's no place like New York City!!! That will be so much fun!!!

Too bad all this normally fun stuff has to turn out to be such a drag! I wish I could be better organized and work on this stuff all through the year. And I say that EVERY YEAR, but it never happens. Big sigh...

Merry Christmas!
