Okay, something weird is going on. For some odd reason, I'm suddenly full of energy and I actually want to do things. Things like clean and organize. And cook. Something's wrong people! LOL
I woke up this morning and hit the floor running. Like my tail was on fire. I don't think my feet actually touched the floor though. Seriously, I was moving!
I got sooo much accomplished today around the house and even went out for awhile and did some after Christmas shopping. Once home I made spagetti with meatballs and I've just finished cleaning the kitchen.
Maybe it's because Christmas is over and everything is packed and I have more time to do "my thing". I don't know. I just hope it last. I feel energized! Yeah!
While I was out this afternoon, I went by to check on our condo on the beach. Yep, the one we've been trying to sell. It's the one we lived in until we moved into our new house. I loved living there so much...until the hurricanes made us evacuate so many times. It's in a non-rental building of only 10 units and we were on the top floor. Beautiful view. I just had to take a photo. Just looks how gorgeous it was today! It was pretty enough and warm enough to walk on the beach or sit out with a book. Sure wish I had my things with me. I saw a few people walking, but not many. Where was everyone? Maybe shopping at the after Christmas sales.
We live in Paradise! Look at that white sand. Look at that gorgeous water. Oh My!

Please, please, spread some of that extra energy my way!
What a view from the condo - I could get lost in that for a while. Thanks for sharing.
So pretty there, I know where I want to be! :o)
Wow, that view is amazing. There's just nothing like the ocean and the beach. So glad you've got your tail on fire!
I hope I catch what you've got! But, I'll just take a light case of it...don't want to shock everyone around here too much!
Beautiful beach!
Sounds like you are in a very lovely place. :)

Isn't it great when you get a burst of energy like that. It makes up for the times when I don't feel like doing anything. And that view is so pretty. The sand is white. It's not at all white in Hilton Head. That photo just makes me smile..... Have a good weekend!
Well, I'm coming out of the lurking closet with your blog!! I absolutely love reading what you write!! And, I think I have figured out you are in Destin?? If so, you are in complete paradise! I grew up going to Destin for vacations and now that is where we go every year with our boys. I wish I could hop in the car and go right now! It is my favorite place on earth.
Anyway, you bless me with each read and could you pass along some of that enerygy via computer please??!!
Blessings and hugs~

I need to celebrate boxing day this weekend :(
The view is fabulous! This is my favorite time of the year at the beach. I'd buy that condo... if only my lottery numbers would win!
Warm weather after Christmas does that to me as well...but right now we are expecting a chilly cold front and that just makes me want to hunker down in the covers!
Kat,
From one Florida chick to another...we are truly blessed to live where we do, are we not?
I have often complained about living in South Florida, being a KY girl and a true southerner at heart, but what I have come to realize is that God has called my family to stay in South Florida and there is a reason, and while I seek out His reasoning I should soak it up and enjoy it every day.
Your view is amazing!
We are in Marco Island right now for our After Christmas Get Away with the kids...it is truly beautiful here!
Now...can you teach me how to get that tail on fire thing???
Kat please ship that stuff to Tennessee ! I still have 15 boxes to unpack and 20 pics to hang!!! :)
I feel the same way about getting things done. I am ready to change rooms around and reorginize. I love the view of the beach.
Blessings,
Linda

Hi, found your blog through Nancy, very nice. I love the picture of the view. What a blessing to live there!! I am sure I will stop back:)
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Kat,
Thanks for the tip about the Fried Grouper at the Snook Inn...will have to check it out!
Today we went to the movies at Marco Walk and had lunch in the theater...they have tables and a waitress assigned to each movie...pretty cool!
As far as the BLOG design...I wish I could be that talented, but unfortunately I am the thinker, not the talent...Lindsay over at SPLAT! Designs did the re-design for me...she did a FAB-U-LOUS job and she is a dream to work with!
By the way...we had an amazing sunset tonight...water was flat, there were NO clouds, and the sun was just stunning!
What a view!! We are planning our vacation to Destin this coming May or June. You are one busy woman! I have plans of cleaning the garage and I have gotten rid of so much since we moved and yet there seems to be more I need to get rid of. I hope you and George and Miss Daisy have a wonderful New Years Eve and Day! I believe we will stay at home this year and play cards and games and enjoy our company that is coming in! :o)
A Big Hug Back,
Patty
