I have so much to be thankful for and I've been thinking about it alot lately. Tonight as I was getting back into my car at the grocery store, I spotted a shiny new penny - face up - on the pavement. It's supposed to mean good luck. But, I don't need a penny to remind me that I'm thankful and lucky too!

My friends and I talk about this alot....we live each day as if we're on vacation...we do things most people do on their vacation...we play tennis or golf, we walk, we do lunch, we have cocktails and watch the sunset, go out to dinner, spend the day on the beach, go boating, etc. Of course, we do normal things too like cook, clean, shop, water plants, do laundry, pay bills, buy groceries, etc., but most of the time, we're blessed to be doing really fun and great things. I know for sure NONE of us take it for granted...we know how very, very blessed we are. We express our gratitude alot. Everyone (or their spouse) has worked really hard for a really long time in order for us to be at this point in our lives. We've raised our children and now we're able to spend quality time with our spouses and our friends. It's wonderful...it really is, but we never want to forget how very lucky we are. When I say my prayers at night (and sometimes during the day) I ALWAYS thank our awesome God for the gift of my life.

It is good to be back to the blogging world. I am reading everything I have missed while I was gone. I hope you are feeling better. I couldn't believe that you were STILL having pain after you got home from your trip. I hope that the tests turn out negative, and also hope your pain goes away. I prayed for you while I was gone.
