Wow! I just logged in to my dashboard and saw that I have posted exactly 500 post since I first start blogging! Amazing!
Today we traveled to Scottsdale, Arizona. What a beautiful country we live in! It was fun just riding along looking at the desert and how deserted areas were as we traveled. I sure hoped we wouldn't have car trouble....that would have made for a bad day for sure. Hot, hot, hot, but so beautiful. We arrived without any trouble, thank you God. We had a wonderful lunch, did some shopping and went to an excellent movie (free...they were passing out free passes in the mall for a sneak preview of a movie Tom Hanks directed) and then returned to our hotel, Camelback Inn, for dinner. We ate outside under the stars listening to a great singer and had a glass of wine. Heaven! I feel like we're on our honeymoon.

That does sound absolutely heavenly. Glad you're having such a sweet time.
It is amazing, when one regularly deals with traffic in an area that is increasingly built up with houses, businesses, and shopping malls, to drive in places that are so huge and empty.
Sounds wonderful! Can't wait to see pictures!
We're all living vicariously through you!
I am happy for you! I remember when we visited Hoover Dam, the hillsides were of pink and coral rock and the lakes were a beautiful blue. I loved the black volcano beside the dam. It almost took my breath away. I had never seen such beauty before. However, I still love the lush green pastures of Lancaster County. It is always good to get back home.
Stunning photos! It almost looks like a painted picture...the background is so gorgeous, it doesn't look real! Wow!
