DETERMINED

de.ter.mined:

adjective

: having a strong feeling that you are going to do something and that you will not allow anyone or anything to stop you
: not weak or uncertain : having or showing determination to do something

I'm determined to get back to tennis.  Because of my tennis elbow, I haven't played in almost 3 months.  George and I  hit for about 45 minutes yesterday afternoon.  Gosh, it felt good to be back on the court.  I did okay...except serving.  That motion still hurts too much right now, so I guess I'll be serving under-handed for awhile :-)
Playing tomorrow for the first time.  Excited!

I'm also determined to get back to my normal fitness program which includes weights, but I have to go easy.  That's okay.

Baby steps.
I'm gonna stay determined!
Stepped on our balcony this morning before church and saw this!
Wow!  I couldn't move until it was gone.
I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
Genesis 9:13
Yikes...almost missed the sunset, but I stopped and ran out to see this.   Another beauty.

God's masterpieces.
And I'm determined to not miss one if I can :-)

Hugs from the beach,
Kat

I am feeling the same about my foot. Determination and baby steps. Trying to0 hard is only going to set us back. That double rainbow is amazing. So is the sunset. You are blessed to live in such a beautiful place. Enjoy your week!

Just your title gave me a smile this morning, for that WORD is a family memory. When DS#2 was reading me his lessons one afternoon when he was about seven, He read along for a bit, then asked, "Mama, what's DEE-Ter-Mined?"

Ever after, we'd tell each other, "You're just Deeeter-mined to do that, aren't you?"

And that rainbow---what a wonderful beginning of week and sign of promise.

I hope your tennis match went well today. Difficult to keep positive sometimes...
Also, I do hope Daven is feeling better.
Your photos always take my breath away. So beautiful particularly since I'm knee deep in snow.
