Coffee in the morning and a glass of vino at night is saving my sanity ;-)
Just like you, I'm sure, I'm busy busy busy decorating for Christmas. Gosh, it's a lot of work. But, I love it. I hate the mess though. Boxes everywhere. And glitter. Have you noticed how many things have some glittery stuff on them? It's everywhere, including on ME! There's scissors and wire, extensions cords, ladders, etc. are in almost every room. I'm in the "throw" of it all. Don't get me wrong...I'm having fun. My goal is to be through by Friday night so we can just ENJOY!!!!!
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! (sing with me)
I love the white lights, the smell of the tree, the music......

How's your decorating going?

Kat, the main thing is that you are having fun. I see glitter until after Feb. it gets everywhere, in the cracks of the hardwood flooring, all over the tile and I see it in places where I didn't decorate; hence where it fell from being on me! LOL. We can't wait to see your christmas decorating. Have a great day!
It's slowly beginning to look like Christmas here. The tree is up.....but not decorated.
I'm working on working on it...I look at the shelves that I know I have to empty of books to put up the pretty geegaws...then I look at the corner that I know has to be emptied so the tree will fit...then I look at Mac and know I have to make him get the boxes down and somehow, it will all work out...love ya girl! Thanks for the reminder...

I'm singing with you, Kat. Your home is going to be awesome! :)

I'm with you Kat! My house looks just like yours I'm sure with boxes everywhere you turn. I do hope to be finished by the weekend, but I'm not sure I'll be able to pull it off! I always wonder why so much and then the answer comes to me - because I love decorating for Christmas plain and simple! lol

I am so far behind on visiting blogs. Busy days and finally a couple of minutes to say a late Happy Thanksgiving. We BBQ'd 2 turkeys and made a large pot of soup and have one more meal of leftovers. It has been delicious. Will freeze a lot of soup today. Christmas decorations go up after my son's birthday next week as we have always tried to keep the two separated.
How are your eyes doing? I will be seeing my eye Dr for a followup and still using moisturizing drops and they stick to my lashes better than they work. I was getting better before these winds started up yesterday and blew all the leaves off the beautiful Fall colored trees. I read all of your posts to catch up and looks like you had a wonderful holiday with family and now getting into the Christmas mode. It is all a lot of work but well worth it. I am singing with you though cannot carry a tune, but enjoy it anyways.
Have a wonderful day.
I am finished. We did a CRAZY marathon decorating session over Thanksgiving weekend. My son wanted to be a part of it while he was home from college......so we did it ALL!!!
I was so tired come Monday and had to head to work!!! It has taken me all week to recover.
Still looks like autumn here. I spent the beginning of the week with Sammy, the middle of the week on music prep and practices. I'm hoping to get started this weekend, but I know I'm keeping Austin on Saturday, so we'll see.
Late, Late, Late!!! I'm still waitin' for Hubs to retrieve my decorations outta the old milk barn. I have 'em in big blue barrels.
I usually am decorated the day after Thanksgiving...so not happin' this year!!!
Hope ya made your deadline sweetie.
God bless and have a remarkable weekend!!! :o)
My decorations such as they are, are done, as is many of our chosen activities.
I have one blog published aabout Christmas and another written ready for a few pictures to be soon published.
As we aged these traditions have also, but we in our own way, enjoy everyone's traditions.
Merry Christmas.
Just checking in, friend. Hope all is well over that way.
