OUR HEART IS WHAT REALLY MATTERS

It seems to take much longer to put myself together lately.  Hair, makeup, clothes, shoes, jewelry..........

Know what I mean?

It's WORK people!  LOL

I've been complaining to myself lately.......

and then I opened my daily email bible verse this morning and this is what I saw:
"The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."
~ 1 Samuel 16:7

A very timely reminder! ;-)
Our heart is what really matters.

Hugs from the beach,
Kat

We are on a big extended family vacation right now. We rented a lake house and are just spending lots of time relaxing by the water and on the boat. I am enjoying the fact that I don't have to feel like I have to make myself up every day.

That is so true. Makes me think that I need to spend as much time working on my heart, as I do my outward appearance!

I just had to do a complete make over on my heart this morning. People like to come to me to complain because I am an easy listener. I have found out that complainers don't really want an answer. They just want to complain and put someone down. I MADE her go to the proper person to work it out. NO MORE OF THIS COMPLAINING STUFF, then I had to work on MY ATTITUDE! The heart really does matter. I don't know if this is what Jesus meant when He gave this verse but.......
